We’ve had multiple lovely experiences at Tall John’s from after school snacks, multi course date nights, and bigger family special occasions. The staff has always been attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We love watching the open kitchen and appreciate the consistent waitstaff and chefs. The specials are always top notch. Tall John’s continues to exceed my expectations! The food is absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The prices are also affordable, making it a great value for the quality of food. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. This place makes an excellent martini (with blue cheese olives). It's a cool environment, somewhat crowded, but the busy-ness adds to the appeal. I think they shine more in cocktails than in food. The burger is made with American cheese, to its detriment. Burrata was good, and the table tried some small Spanish-style fish. We had another OK pasta dish as well. Less likely to return for a meal but happy to come for drinks + apps.
