Such a fun place with a great atmosphere! Staff were all so welcoming and helpful, and the food was FANTASTIC!!!! I am already looking forward to going back and getting the blackened catfish and more mac n cheese! Don't miss the fries, they are so unique in the best possible way, you have to try them. We ate here before a recent Eulogy show. It was fantastic. I ordered the catfish with potato salad and collard greens, plus a nice local beer. Everything was perfectly delicious with good portion sizes. I only wish they had umbrellas outside, as it was a nice evening but in direct sun so we stayed inside. HIghly recommend!Vegetarian options: It's a fish place but they have some vegetarian sides.

We tried Good Hot Fish for the first time today, and it was everything we hoped it would be. My husband's fish sandwich was huge, and the fish was perfectly fried. I had the fish plate with fried black drum, greens, and peas. It was served with hush puppies and housemade pickles. Everything was beautifully seasoned.
