What more do you want form a taco place? What more can you want from a tamale? So this is really two small shops. On the right is a small tortilla and tamale factory. One the left is a taco shop. I went to the gym nearby and decided to stop for tamales next door. I was so surprised, it's the best tamales I've tasted in Asheville. The women there are making the masa in front of you and you can tell everything is authentic. I had the pork and the chicken and the pork was my favorite. They weren't empty like I've had in other locations. I cant wait to have them again when I go back to Asheville. I love this place!! I'm from New Mexico and have been eating Mexican food all my life, and this place is great. Food is simple, affordable, and delicious!
