“It was a perfect light dinner for us before going to the Flat Rock Playhouse. Their pork appetizer was excellent with a lot of pork and flavor. Their Fish Tacos were excellent. They have fancier names than this. A very tasty tapas items. Staff was welcoming and friendly.“

Incredible Tacos and Torta at Taquira El Chuy!
I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Taquira El Chewy, and it’s easily the best taco truck I've ever experienced. The Pastor Torta was out of this world—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor in every bite. I also tried two Pastor Tacos, and they were just as fantastic, with a deliciously soft tortilla and a mouthwatering balance of spices. My wife loved her three Chicken Tacos, which were tender, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We washed it all down with two bottles of Yoritos orange soda, which paired perfectly with the food. The team at Taquira El Chewy clearly puts heart into every dish, and the food quality and service were top-notch. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican street food, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back for more and recommend it to everyone in the area!“

“Ups- I’ve really never thought rice was more than a side dish.
Down side - I could not pull my husband away from the make your own salsa bar. He ate so much of the hot salsa that his nose ran.

“Lovely place with many delicious options beyond the typical mexican restaurant menu choices. Friendly service, clean and pleasant atmosphere. I got the chilaquiles and they were excellent. Everyone else in my family loved their food too. Good kids menu and kid friendly layout. Oh and the salsas are fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem!!! Go check them out!“

“Just WOW! The best asada taco I have ever had in my entire life! They must make their corn tortillas in house - they are thick and soft + unlike most store bought corn tortillas they do not fall apart. We savored every bite and then both my husband and I kept bringing up how good they were!“
“Why can’t we have this restaurant closer to our home instead of off the interstate on our way to TN? We were in the mood for Mexican food fir lunch, and saw the sign for this restaurant as we exited. The food was marvelous, as was our waiter. We are on our way to our final destination now - full and raving about lunch. First thing that was given to us was a large round corn tortilla with salsa on top. It was not spicy, and it was just enough to whet our appetites. Delicious! We are grateful that we did not fill up by eating customary chips and salsa. The menu was huge, and it was difficult to decide on just one thing. Due to a dental procedure, I had to find something soft. The cheese quesadilla fit the bill and it was perfect. The included salad was different and amazing: cucumber, tomato, dried banana slice, apple slices, and lettuce with Caesar dressing. Husband raved about his cheese grilled burrito with chicken, rice, and the same salad. If you are in the area, and you like authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. We will make it a stop anytime we are in the area so we can try more of the menu items!“

“OK, it's not the best taco I've ever had but pretty darn good. It hit several positive buttons--fresh, hot, simple, inexpensive, good service, nice people. Health rating was posted on the front window--94.5. My search for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex led me here. This place is hard to find. It's a food truck next to a gas station with a sign out front that says "Food Center" in the very small town of Dana. They have some outside picnic tables to sit at. I'll be back to try some other menu items.“
“Great fresh baked cookies and great produce (especially nice to find plantains here)! Lots of products you can't find elsewhere. It looks a little rough on the outside and the floors of the store, but shelves are all cleaned daily. Good people. I just love them. ♥️“

“Me and my husband love going here for a quick lunch when I’m on my lunch break. The very first time we were there it was amazing so we decided to make this our occasional quick lunch spot when I’m working to far to go home. Downside is that they charge for every little thing.
My husband ordered me an orange soda because they were out of sprite when I was running late. It was okay not a big deal. I finished my first drink and asked the waitress if I could switch to a dr. Pepper instead.
She left and came back and told me In order to switch my drink I had to pay for another drink. ?? (But it comes from the same fountain, and they take your cup to refill it) I’m not fancy or needy by any means and didn’t mind alittle orange in my Dr Pepper.
But I wasn’t going to pay to switch my drink. Other than this the food is great. Service can be better, we still leave good tips but this definitely put a damper on one of our favorite places.“

“I really don't eat a lot of fast food I mostly eat and sit down restaurants are cooked for myself but I love taco bell! I just love the double five-layer beefy burritos but I get mine with no sour cream. Add a couple double deckers on the side and you got you a meal!! Don't forget about that Baja Blast zero sugar!! Go ahead and put some fire and hot sauce on the side so you can live a little!“
