“Moved to this area about 18 months ago….and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant! Just now getting to Lyman and I think I found my favorite ?. Quick efficient service and served my marg without the salt. Extra points for friendliness and flavor!!“

“We went into Nixtamal in Boiling Springs for drinks and dinner. We had the table side guacamole, which was amazing, Margaritas and I had the ACP for dinner. Our server Cole was very attentive and did an excellent job. We will definitely be back.“

“We were in town for business and stumbled on this gem. The atmosphere reminded us of a family owned taqueria in Texas. The food was amazing. The flavors were typical of home (Texas) and probably the best queso I have ever had. The service was top notch our glasses stayed full and so did the salsa. We were so impressed, we went back on night 2 of our visit. This is a must try if you are looking for good Mexican food in the area.“

“Chips and Cheese is one of those places that just gets it right—every single time. The service is always friendly and fast, the food is ridiculously tasty, and they’ve got the coldest beer in town. I love that they always have music playing and a salsa bar that takes it to the next level. You even leave smelling like you’ve been somewhere worth it (in the best way). On top of all that? “I travel an hour to eat here. I would put it at the top of my list in the category of your standard Mexican restaurant in the southeast. At first glance, you wouldn’t think there was anything particularly special about it, but it the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend the chicken soup or the chiles poblanos with ground beef (you have to request this). Atmosphere is simple and no-frills, but feels comforting and cozy. Staff has always been very friendly in all my visits. Highly recommend.“

“This place is Increíblemente delicioso(amazingly delicious) Love the brisket tacos especially. Cannot wait to try the tamales. Also they actually have REAL hot sauce. This is the first and only place that we've had real hot sauce in this state. So much appreciated. Also the staff workers were very nice. Its very clean too. I give them 10 stars.“

“Last night we went into Sabroso Mexican Grille at 845. We were greeted warmly by the owner even though it was 15 minutes prior to close. We asked for authentic Mexican tacos versus TexMex style. You can see the yumminess that we were given. Fresh and hot, the meal was on point! I didn't get a picture of the chips and salsa, but the "hot" salsa had some heat and was bursting with flavor. I'm sure I will be going back again!“

“I went today during lunch. It was fairly busy but the service was great and the person working the cash register was great. They did ask people to put masks on when they entered but I didn’t see any big fuss like previously mentioned. Although, I don’t know why anyone would get upset about that since it SAYS ON THE DOOR that masks are REQUIRED. Some people believe rules don’t apply to them.“
