“These are the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. They've ruined all other quesabirria tacos for me. I've tried them at every establishment I've come across on multiple trips across the nation -- they even soundly outdid anything I found in the southwest states, my old stomping grounds. You can immediately taste that they were made with love, and I love them right back.Fish tacos were also pretty good.“
“Finally tried City Taco after driving by it almost every day for the past year +. When I parked at the gas station and got out, the smells coming out of the truck were amazing. The menu was a little all over the place (placement wise on the truck, not what they offered), but I knew I wanted to start with basic. I got their 2 beef tacos and rice combo for $9 and a tamale. In total it was $12 and some change, which with their tacos being $4 each is not a bad combo.Tamale....delicious! The masa, without the filling had great flavor and once you got to the chicken.... <(-.-<) ^(-.-)^ >(-.-)> it was a flavor party. The chicken was moist and it was marinaded in what I believe was their tomatillo sauce. It was spicy perfect all around. The beef tacos were really good as well. Beef wasn't overpowering and had a nice spice to it. Cheese had a distinct taste, again not overpowering. The lettuce and tomatoes were a crisp addition. Tacos were really solid, not one flavor dominated the experience, which I appreciated and it meshed together really well. Lastly, the rice was a red type rice, delicious, and surprisingly crispy. I am not sure if that was from being in the pot or if they crisped it up on the grill. Either way, it was great.I hope to stop here again and try more of their menu!“
“We love going here for any occasion. Very good food, service is excellent, and has a deck you can eat on outside. So, inside and outside eating areas, I never have had a bad experience going here. Truly recommend at least trying it. My family loves it..“
“I just responded to a friend who asked where our favorite Mexican restaurant is;“ Rosie’s in Simpsonville…named after her parents..”Tejauno.” It’s at 38 Ray E Talley Ct Ste F, Simpsonville, SC 29680.We’ve eaten Rosie’s food for 30 years. Our favorite is Chicken Chimichanga. You never get anything but white meat & NO veins or yucky meat. Always the same. The spicy cheese sauce is great!Rosie & her hubby are incredible & started out w/ NOTHING. They are open 7 days a wk. from 11 am to -10 pm. I’d love to meet you there sometime. Whatever, GO NOW…you’ll love it!❣️“
“This is by far the the best Mexican food in Greenville. Every time we visit our daughter in Clemson we stay in Greenville and the first night of our stay we eat here. The food is fabulous. The staff is even better than the food. They are friendly and efficient and we’ve never had a bad experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s the best“
“Love this place... food is awesome and the amount is more than enough the cost which is affordable. The guys working there are so friendly. I can't do beans so it's funny to keep hearing him ask me if I want them. Over all great place to stop in for a quick bite. First truck I've seen to also take cash app payments.“
“Have been here about six times and have always gotten the asada tacos. The wife always gets the birria tacos. Asada and birria tacos are great every time! Haven't tried anything else, but looking forward to it! On a side note, the salsa bar and service bar are outstanding!“
“Friendly service, everyone greeted us when we walked in. Food was good and a large portion. Restaurant was very clean. On the way out multiple people said goodbye to us. UPDATE 4 years later we are back and I'm pretty sure the food got even better and the service was still top notch. Went from 4 to 5.“
“After reading recommendations about this place, my spouse and I finally had some time to visit it, and it didn’t disappoint. It is a mexican panaderia, which serves classic conchas, among other baked goodies. But our main reason for us to be there were the authentic tacos. They are legit good! Soft tortilla, juicy meat portions, and at a decent price.I had also tried the egg and chorizo torta but it wasn’t my favorite. However, I highly recommend this place if you are looking for legit mexican tacos.“
“I absolutely love this place. The food is great but the customer service is out of this world! The staff treats you like you're old friends (even from my first visit) and go above and beyond to make sure that you have a pleasant experience. I cant say enough good things about this place. My first experience with them was a togo order that my husband picked up and it was missing an item (luckily we live very close) usually this would have been a deal breaker for me but between the taste of the food and the AMAZING care they showed to make things right we were hooked. The next time we dined in and our waiter was so wonderful that we decided that we would dine in from now on because we love the atmosphere so much.“
“This is our spot in Mauldin. We pass 3 other Mexican restaurants to eat here every time. Jose the manager is the greatest. Always so friendly.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burritos are the bomb. I replace mushrooms with carrots and *chefs kiss*“
“Service was fast, accurate with a sense of humor, food fresh and good, atmosphere comfortable and festive. Spice was toned down for local taste, but they have a wide range of hot sauce should you want to amp it up. Highlight: Dos Equis dark on draft with a squeeze of lime.“
“The service was very fast and the tacos were soooo good! I had seen this place many times but this was the first time I decided to try it and it was amazing. The price and the quality is 10/10! I also loved both of the sauces I put on the tacos. In total my group ordered the cabeza, chorizo, carne asada, and Al pastor tacos. Totally recommend and you will not be disappointed:)“
“Food it's great. Many items in the menu to try. It's close to where we live. So far we haven't had a bad meal yet. They have a salsa bar but never tell customers about it. It's near the front door behind the hostess stand.“
“Amazing food! Their burritos, tacos and ramen are all super filling and the best flavors you will taste. Great portion sizes and super friendly staff! They are located at Scuffletown Food Truck Park. The park is a great family friendly atmosphere with lots for the whole family, drinks, kids play areas, picnic tables, and fun events!“
“So, I went during lunch time and there were these two men (customers) who seemed to be discussing business related subjects sitting in the booth in front of me. They apparently wanted everyone in the area to hear them and it was very annoying. Secondly, I didn't pay close attention but I could have sworn that the waitresses were serving food from the same cart they were busting the tables with, not cool if in fact they were doing so.“
“Came in around 12 with two friends from work and got the lady to make a pineapple lemonade... no its not on the menu but it was soooo good I will be back and I Also tried the beef nachos they rate about 8/10 but the shrimp nachos get 10/10 we're definitely going “
“This place is in Simpsonville, approximately 25min away from Greenville Downtown. By 9pm most of the Mexican restaurants were closed. So we had only option left to go to this one as this one closes at 10pm. But we are so glad we went here! Very authentic Mexican food!!!First of all you can easily park your car in the free parking lot. It was easy to find a table. Very colorful ambience with designers chairs and table.Margarita flight was great! It came with 4 different tastes! Best was Jalapeño Margarita! They have live Guacamole option!! Which is for $12 but worth experiencing authentic taste of fresh Guacamole ?I am vegetarian, there was one option with Quesadilla but easily customized Enchilladas to Vegetarian. Which they served with authentic handmade corn tortilla! Some servers can't speak English but some can. They are cooperative. All the food and service was great. We would like to go again!Vegetarian options: They can customize any dish to vegetarian when you ask“
“Wow, who knew there was such a gem in Mauldin? The service was above and beyond- you were never searching for someone to assist you. The food had so much flavor and was well portioned!I look forward to my next trip here to enjoy such a delicious experience again.“
“Three days ago I went…. I didn't know this place and I have been living in the same area for many years, I went to buy some groceries at Food Lion and only entered out of curiosity, when a warm smile came in from the person who attended me I was excited to eat something. The waitress named Rosio guided me through her extensive and great menu and I am encouraged to eat the delicious bang bang tacos. I recommend them and I hope to come back soon“
“Enjoyed my experience, food was delicious. Only complaint is that they should tell you before ordering. That if you don't have cash there is a payment increase with price total Other than that. FOOD WAS GREAT! Will go back with cash lol“
“We just moved here recently and my uncle went in to see if they had any openings for a job. They didn’t have any jobs available but whoever spoke to my uncle was such a professional he said. He offered my uncle a meal and not only him but he sent him out the door with two meals with salsa and chips on the house. This was definitely an expression of welcoming with Southern hospitality. Never have we ever seen this where we are from. This says a lot about this family owned business and the the gentleman he spoke with, so much so my uncle said the atmosphere of this restaurant not only was a perfect setting but a place he would be proud to work for. Therefore we will definitely patronize this restaurant. The food was good and authentic. May God always bless this family in all their endeavors.“
