“I worked for years on the KCK Taco Trail (google it) and thought I'd never find someplace as good until I stopped by the parking lot of the baseball and softball academy in Simpsonville, SC. One word review, LEGIT. I've had it four times now and everything I've eaten has been delicious. Pastor, asada, chorizo, pollo, it doesnt matter. The mild (green) is spicy and flavorful, the hot (red) will make you rethink your life choices but also has a robust smokey flavor. If you're in the area, it's a must have.“

“My husband and I come here at least once a month (if not more) for the quesabirria, spicy queso and margaritas! Gina is our server everytime and she is the absolute best, we absolutely love her. She always knows our order my heart and checks in frequently to make sure we're stocked on chips, drinks & have everything we need. Everyone here works as a team helping deliver chips and salsa, salt and pepper, water and napkins from the moment you sit down. You walk in and they're so welcoming and excited to see you! Gina invited us to the salsa night they had and it was an amazing experience! I literally tell everyone I know to come here and they always tell me how much they loved it.
When my husbands grandmother passed away, we started searching for a place that could replicate her cooking and this place was it. Authentic Mexican recipes made with love & by amazing people. This restaurant started as a tester and ended up our favorite place for food, company, service & date night.

“We frequent El Jalisco at least once a month after church on Sunday. Jose and his family always remember us and chat it up. You don’t find that kind of atmosphere anywhere anymore.“

“Last night we went into Sabroso Mexican Grille at 845. We were greeted warmly by the owner even though it was 15 minutes prior to close. We asked for authentic Mexican tacos versus TexMex style. You can see the yumminess that we were given. Fresh and hot, the meal was on point! I didn't get a picture of the chips and salsa, but the "hot" salsa had some heat and was bursting with flavor. I'm sure I will be going back again!“

Update! I usually get the tacos because...Taco Tuesday. But today, I ordered the Enchilada and taco. Oh my GOODNESS! So good.
And even better the waiter from the Taylor's location works here. He is awesome!

“We drive from the other side of Greenville just to come to Sr Salsa! From the moment you walk in the door you have fresh warm chips waiting for you, and they keep you basket filled! Drinks are great selection as expected... The food, oh my! See attached picture, I mean come on!! We'll be back soon!!“
