I have a lot of Latino friends from many regions of Central America, including Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and Salvador, and also southern Mexico and Chopas. This is the most authentic Latino Food. Furthermore I believe you can get mangonadas from the supermarket down the road but I'm going to do a review for them too because they have my purple flowers. That's actually collateral for the $10 I owe them because they spotted me on a mangonada and vanilla wafers.

Good luck getting such treatment from your own family but sometimes you will find family in strangers.

“My daughter and I discovered this small restaurant several months ago. We arrived during the "Happy Hour" and Juan's $5.99 Margaritas were amazing. And then there was the food. It was a Tuesday- so we got the "Tacos" chicken, ground beef and pork. All were delicious. I came once a week for the next few months, but when I saw the food photos on their facebook page and learned that some of the food offerings were Juan's father's creat ions. I had to try them. Juan and the "Chefs en el cocina" all do their best to serve delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere. Si- I am an old gringo who now shows up twice a week to try their different menu items and almost always a "Margarita" or maybe some "Sangria." “Mr Salsa’s on Harrison Bridge Road is a great option for Mexican food in Simpsonville. The restaurant is very clean, the hostess was welcoming, and my server Carmen was friendly and super attentive. I’ve only been here for lunch, but I was really impressed with how quick the food came out, the quality of the food, and how easy it was to enjoy a great meal within a lunch hour. This would definitely be a solid spot for dinner too. Highly recommend—I’ll be back! 🌮👍“

“Wow, this place is great! So, it’s true they are cash-only, and prices are no longer listed, as the numbers pictured in the original sign have slowly faded away. For reference, though, I ordered 6 tacos and a big ol horchata for $24. They served it with some pieces of grilled onion, 2 different homemade salsas and 3 complimentary chunks of lime. Yum!!
I tried the asada, carnitas, and pastor (pictured). And omggg these small street tacos are full! The meats are generously portioned and then topped with fresh chopped onion and cilantro. The asada and pastor each had some lovely bits of char, but the juicy carnitas really shined!
Also, I’m under the impression that the hours they have listed are up-to-date after calling to confirm. There’s a review saying something about not being able to be seated after 9 that must have been about the restaurant in the neighboring storefront- because there is no seating here.
So, overall, I’m thrilled with this experience. Easily the best taco truck I’ve been to so far, and I really look forward to coming back again! (Thank you to the chef for allowing me to take this photo)“
