I have a lot of Latino friends from many regions of Central America, including Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and Salvador, and also southern Mexico and Chopas. This is the most authentic Latino Food. The rice that comes with the meal is like none I have ever had! Hubby got the Cheesesteak Burrito. Delicious! Oh!! and because it was Saturday they have daily specials. Today was a free Pan Dulce(sweet bread dessert) but we had to get a Churro per entree so we received 2 for FREE! she also made them fresh and put them in a bag for us to go! Our waitress was awesome! “My daughter and I discovered this small restaurant several months ago. We arrived during the "Happy Hour" and Juan's $5.99 Margaritas were amazing. And then there was the food. It was a Tuesday- so we got the "Tacos" chicken, ground beef and pork. All were delicious. I came once a week for the next few months, but when I saw the food photos on their facebook page and learned that some of the food offerings were Juan's father's creat ions. I had to try them. Juan and the "Chefs en el cocina" all do their best to serve delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere. Si- I am an old gringo who now shows up twice a week to try their different menu items and almost always a "Margarita" or maybe some "Sangria." “So, I've been on a mission to find the best birria place in this area, and I've tried at least 6 birria taco places around town, and while there's at least one that's comparable, this is hands-down BY FAR the best birria place, not just in quality, but quality for the price. I've gone back so many times, and Taqueria Javier Solis has always nailed it every single time. If I was A millionaire I would sponsor this company for that quesadillas alone. Although there tortas are extremely good.

Furthermore I believe you can get mangonadas from the supermarket down the road but I'm going to do a review for them too because they have my purple flowers. That's actually collateral for the $10 I owe them because they spotted me on a mangonada and vanilla wafers.

Good luck getting such treatment from your own family but sometimes you will find family in strangers.

“Mr Salsa’s on Harrison Bridge Road is a great option for Mexican food in Simpsonville. The restaurant is very clean, the hostess was welcoming, and my server Carmen was friendly and super attentive. I’ve only been here for lunch, but I was really impressed with how quick the food came out, the quality of the food, and how easy it was to enjoy a great meal within a lunch hour. “We had amazing tinga and asada tacos and a squash blossom quesadilla. It’s a taco truck in a parking lot. I give 5 stars across the board because it’s exactly what I was looking for. Everything tasted fresh. Will be stopping here again the next time we pas through.“

“Wow, this place is great! So, it’s true they are cash-only, and prices are no longer listed, as the numbers pictured in the original sign have slowly faded away. For reference, though, I ordered 6 tacos and a big ol horchata for $24. They served it with some pieces of grilled onion, 2 different homemade salsas and 3 complimentary chunks of lime. Yum!!
I tried the asada, carnitas, and pastor (pictured). And omggg these small street tacos are full! The meats are generously portioned and then topped with fresh chopped onion and cilantro. The asada and pastor each had some lovely bits of char, but the juicy carnitas really shined!
Also, I’m under the impression that the hours they have listed are up-to-date after calling to confirm. There’s a review saying something about not being able to be seated after 9 that must have been about the restaurant in the neighboring storefront- because there is no seating here.
So, overall, I’m thrilled with this experience. Easily the best taco truck I’ve been to so far, and I really look forward to coming back again! (Thank you to the chef for allowing me to take this photo)“
