“Wow, what a nice surprise. We've been driving past this place for 10 months going back and forth to the YMCA. I kept saying 'we need to try this place'We did today.It is super clean. I mean spotless. Lots of TLC. The staff are really nice. I think it is a family business which is great.The food rocked. We have hit many Mexican restaurants in the area. 3 of them were a swing and a miss. A couple were decent.This place was really great. I was craving burritos, so I got the California Burritos wrap. It was great and huge. I could only eat half and I was ready for a nap after half. The other half is tomorrow's lunch.I got a side of refried beans, very tasty.My wife had the breaded Tilapia. That was good. They served French fries with it. I don't go to Mexican restaurants for the French fries so we didn't really eat them.The chips and salsa were good.I had wine. For house merlot, it was decent. Our bill was maybe $50, so the pricing is good.I am shocked this place wasn't busy but it is a Tuesday in the afternoon.Anyway, great local place off of Wade Hampton Blvd. It is close to Target. The food was terrific. Next time we're doing the Texas Fajitas. Another table ordered them and the smell was awesome.“
“It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been here and use to dine here often. Although my family always went for the one of a kind chili relleno but I never cared for them. They make theirs with a breading and a lot of yellow cheese. It’s like a big puff ball of pepper, cheese and breading deep fried. Not for me. But all of my family always ordered them. I went for the combo #14. Burrito, enchilada and beef taco. Best enchilada I’ve ever had! And the burrito had big chunks of high quality ground beef and the most delicious sauce with large slices of cooked onions! YUMMY! I also asked for the super hot ( not served at the table when you walk in) salsa and I’m here to tell you, I love a great salsa with a lot of kick! THIS IS IT! And this salsa stays with you! Has the best flavor!Try this place but expect a wait. It’s always packed!Parking: There is a lot next door within a short walk over a sidewalk. ✅“
“We really loved our lunch at La Reata. The salsa bar was delightful with a wide variety of mild to spicy options along with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. The enchiladas were absolutely delicious, and the service was great. Will definitely be back!“
“Give this place a try. You will like it.Delicious. We had Pastor Tacos, Mix (beans, cheese, chicharron), and All Cheese pupusas. We really liked everything.The Pupusas came with fresh, crunchy, tangy coleslaw that really is the perfect condiment for them.The red and green sauces were smooth and tasty. I personally prefer a lot more heat in my Christmas sauces, but these were unique to the spot and I'm there for it.Importantly, the place was clean and comfortable. There are lots' of hole-in-the-wall (this is a term of endearment here) places that engender a certain sense of adventure/risk when eating there, but not this place. This is a well operated establishment.It really is a joy to find delicious, authentic options in my neighborhood (especially nice considering the best sushi in several mile radius of my house is at Publix lol).“

“Authentic Mexican. Fast food. Steady line coming in the whole time, and for good reason. Was told about this place a couple years ago and there's a reason it's still here. Good food. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. No cause for any negative remarks.“
