50 Best Bakeries near Taylors

“Tienen los mejores pasteles que puedes probar , y además el decorado lo hacen a tu gusto !!!. El Horno Bakery es único 👍🎂“

“Of the two Pereira locations, this one is definitely my favorite! The customer service is amazing, and the food is even better! The only slightly inconvenient thing is that you have to go to the register to pay, but hey, that’s just another excuse to grab a little treat or a drink on your way out! Hahaha.

Everyone is treated with kindness and respect. And if your food takes a little longer than expected, they will politely let you know. That’s what great customer service looks like! Highly recommended!“

I had the Black Forest and my friend had the Vanilla Buttercream, and both were absolutely incredible. Fresh, delicious, and just ridiculously good. We really hope this new store is here to stay because Simpsonville definitely needs this place! 100% recommend giving Scouts Donuts a try — you won’t be disappointed. 🍩🔥“

“One of my absolute favorite spots in GVL! Consistently excellent breakfast/brunch along with great service. The wait times can sometimes be a bit long because they’re always busy and everything is made fresh to order but 100% worth it!“

“This has become my favorite bakery in upstate, SC. I love the sandwiches, the croissants, and the different breads.“

“I recently visited Crumbl Cookies and was blown away by how delicious their cookies are! Each one is fresh, warm, and packed with flavor. The rotating menu keeps things exciting, and I loved trying new flavors alongside some of their classic cookies. The quality and taste are truly top-notch, and it’s hard to leave without taking a box home.

However, the staff experience wasn’t as sweet as the cookies. While they got my order right, they didn’t seem very welcoming or enthusiastic, and it felt a bit rushed at the counter. A little more friendliness would have made the visit perfect.

Overall, the cookies are absolutely worth it, and I’ll definitely be back for the treats—they’re just that good! I hope the staff experience improves to match the quality of the cookies.“

“We came in tonight an hour or less before closing and was greeted with great customer service and looks of information on what to try. My friend and I got a hand full of treats to split and the desserts were so delicious and fresh! Such a great spot!“

“Stax Bakery has been my go-to bakery for many, many years, and they continue to remind me why.

Greenville is fortunate to have a lot of great bakeries, but in my opinion, Stax Bakery is simply the best. Beyond their incredibly moist cakes and desserts, their customer service is exceptional. They’re also incredibly convenient and centrally located just off I-385 on Orchard Park Drive, making them easy to get to from just about anywhere around Greenville.

Most recently, I wanted to do something special to thank the team at Lexus of Greenville for the many years of excellent service they’ve provided me. I came up with a custom cake design that incorporated an image of my actual Lexus, making the cake personal and representative of my relationship with the dealership.

That’s another thing I really appreciate about Stax Bakery: they’ll help you develop a design for your cake, or they’ll work with you to bring a design you already have to life. I brought my idea to Amy, and she and the Stax team took the time to turn my design into something genuinely meaningful. The finished cake looked fantastic, and I’ve included a picture because their work deserves to be seen!

Of course, a beautiful cake doesn’t mean much if it doesn’t taste good—and this one definitely did. The Lexus staff absolutely devoured it and thanked me repeatedly for bringing it. It was a huge hit.

What makes experiences like this stand out is the personal attention. Amy went above and beyond, putting extra time and effort into making sure my idea translated into a cake that was exactly what I hoped it would be. That level of customer service is something I’ve experienced consistently over the many years I’ve been coming to Stax.

And here’s something people may not realize: you don’t have to buy an entire cake to enjoy Stax Bakery. One of my favorite things to do is stop by Stax Omega next door and pick up individual slices of several different Stax cake flavors. It’s perfect when you’re taking dessert to a gathering because everyone gets to sample different flavors—and people absolutely love it.

After many years as a customer, Stax Bakery remains the bakery I recommend first in Greenville. Amazing cakes, wonderful people, outstanding customer service, a convenient location, and a team willing to put genuine care into making something special.

A very special thank-you to Amy and the entire Stax team for going the extra mile on this one. You took an idea that was meaningful to me and turned it into something I was proud to give to the Lexus team.

Stax Bakery has earned every one of these five stars.“

“Wow! The bear claws are heavenly!!“

“Southern Baking opened to consumers (in addition to wholesale) during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering bread and baked goods that were nearly impossible to find on the shelves of grocery stores in the Greer/Greenville/Spartanburg area. Since then, they have remained open to the public with limited hours offering a comprehensive menu of baked goods - my husband LOVED their cheese danishes and we can't wait to try everything else on their drive-up menu. The staff was so friendly and courteous to me today, even though they weren't open to the general public, and let me purchase some croissants and cheese danishes despite being closed to the public. I was even sent home with a complimentary loaf of still-warm fresh sandwich bread. We are so fortunate to have such a thoughtful and caring bakery around the corner, and my neighbors and I all hope they will remain open to the public with limited hours so we can continue to enjoy their excellent baked goods and superior customer service.“

“Miss Denise did my birthday cake in August and it was absolutely the best cake I've ever had! I've been going to her shop for about 7 months here and there to get her cake slices & cup cakes. I ordered a lemon cake with cream cheese frosting, in the shape of a heart, she absolutely killed it!! Better than I could've imagined! The cake was huge (which was great because we ate it as a sweet treat for days after) & the flavor was amazing! Highly recommend Sweet Delights by Denise for anyone looking for an amazing cake & a sweet lady!“

“Just had the most amazing experience courtesy of Melissa! I’m not overly familiar with Cinnabon personally, so when I went in to get stuff for a friends birthday, Melissa was so incredibly helpful and personable. “I ordered buntinis online and they were out of 1 of the flavors in that size. They called and offered me a free bundlet in a larger size and added additional flavors of the smaller size. “Excelente sazón. Buena atención. Gran variedad de menu colombiano“

“Walking into Crumbl felt so nice because the air conditioning was amazing, especially with how hot and humid the weather was outside. The staff helped us very quickly, and everyone was easy to talk to and really friendly. I got my favorite cookie, and the whole experience just felt very comfortable and welcoming!“

“My coworkers and I use to pick up food from here at least once per week, but in the past six months, the chicken salad (which we all get) has been different. Like the quality of the chicken has gone downhill. It’s chewy/slimy compared to how fresh it used to be. The first time we just thought it was a bad batch, but tried it two other times after that and it was still gross. Please bring back the chicken salad pre-2026. Other than that, the cakes, sides, and atmosphere are great!“
