“We ate here for lunch today for the first time and I will say, it certainly will not be our last!! It looked super packed from the road but the seating was quick despite what seemed to be a long wait by the number of cars outside…the service was outstanding!! I wish I could share his name because he did such a fantastic job but sadly I failed to get it…the interior decor was amazing and clean and super festive! Such a fun atmosphere for us! The food was well prepared and plated nicely! There’s literally a Mexican restaurant on every corner anymore it seems but we’ll definitely travel the extra time to go back!! “Good was good and so was the service. I've was surprised when we ordered a pitcher of Mexican beer and asked for extra limes that we were charged $1.50 for 4 small slices. Next time, I'll take my own limes. I think the sever should have told us there was a charge. It's not the price just the fact that we weren't told that it was extra.“

“I’m in Mr. Cactus 2-3 times a month most months. Needless to say, I eat here ALOT!!!! I’ve never had a bad experience, our server we always request is amazing and we’ve even become friends in real life. The food is always fresh and fast!!! I’ve never had anything go wrong, been brought wrong food or even had a drink get below half the glass before another one is brought to me. Never had to send food back or ask for something that was missing. Hands down, THE BEST!!! It’s so good that other Mexican restaurants now taste like crap to me. Mr. Cactus has me spoiled rotten lol!!!!

“I am not exaggerating giving this place 5 stars. The food is excellent, always comes out hot and fresh. The waitstaff are very friendly and helpful and quick!! I've never waited more than 10 minutes. One of my favorite spots in town. Also want to shoutout our waitress, Amie ,who did an absolutely amazing job table touching and serving our every need. 10/10, will definitely eat here again and again.
Also highly recommend the Burrito California, my absolute favorite!

Dietary restrictions: Orders are customizable and they also have salads and other vegetarian options. (Lots of orders with beans and rice and veggies)

“My hubby and I both looked at each other after a few bites of food, and insync we both said This is our new favorite Mexican Restaurant! This food was absolutely delicious! We got 2 Rojo Tamales! Super tasty and it was my first time having them as well! Would recommend for sure! Small cheese dip of course was as great as it already is. Now the only thing we were not impressed with was the Salsa bar. We tried 4 different ones. We did not care for them. But the other food, service and staff definitely make up for the salsa bar! For my first time as well I ordered the Jarritos (Mexican fruit soda) Tamarind! Again super great! My pollo fundido was crunchy on the ends and soft in the middle just the way I like it! The rice that comes with the meal is like none I have ever had! Hubby got the Cheesesteak Burrito. Delicious! Oh!! and because it was Saturday they have daily specials. Today was a free Pan Dulce(sweet bread dessert) but we had to get a Churro per entree so we received 2 for FREE! she also made them fresh and put them in a bag for us to go! Our waitress was awesome! She answered all my questions did not seem aggravated at all! She thoroughly explained. She was super nice and happy! I also love they have a lot of food choices to choose from! I felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. I didn't feel weird walking into a place I have never been too.“

“Really great restaurant. All waiters are great except a waitress named Elsi. She has been the worst one I ever encounter. She rushed us since we got to the restaurant. Didn’t even bother to ask if we needed anything else after we finished eating and just gave us our ticket. I’m a waitress myself and she definitely isn’t polite at all. Other than that, the others are great and food it’s awesome!“

“I have been several times. Enjoyed each time. If you like seafood, you need to try the seafood bowl. Last time we were a large group on Sunday and it took 2 hours from start to finish. No problem for me since I enjoyed the fellowship. But most people wouldn't like that so a 4 instead of 5.“

“This was the Duncan location. Very fun atmosphere and delicious food! The Carnitas dinner was great! They carry Pacifico beer, which is my favorite. One of the lady’s in our group had a margarita. The hurricane left many businesses across GVL without power, and so many restaurants were busy around lunchtime on this Tuesday. I waited in a long line that moved swiftly and efficiently. Even though the employees were working non-stop for well over an hour, they were so kind and patient with each customer. Plus, the food was hot, fresh and warm. Nothing was chaotic and everything was clean when it could have been very overwhelming. My fiancé got the birria tacos , they were very full and tasty !
