“The restaurant was great. The service was quick. The interior decor was on point. The place was clean. They do not rush you to eat or leave. Needs a little tlc at the door to enter the building. Mainly due to trim hanging down and a cable placed in a bad area. The food was fantastic. My only complaint about the food was the kids' chicken. It literally is Dino nuggets and smiley face fries from Walmart. I would expect it to be a cut-up breast or something. I've been to a lot of latin restaurants, and it's the first time the kids got Dino nuggets for chicken nuggets. I wish my boy would eat something different, but kids always want chicken.“

“Hold onto your sombreros, folks, because Mr. Cactus is about to take your taste buds on a joyride to Flavor Town! This place is the whole enchilada when it comes to Mexican cuisine.First off, let's talk ambiance. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a fiesta of colors and decorations that make you feel like you've stumbled into a tortilla factory. The mariachi music playing in the background adds just the right amount of spice to the atmosphere. Now onto the food. Holy guacamole, where do I even begin? The tacos are so good, they'll have you saying "adios" to every other taco joint in town. And the burritos? They're so big, you'll need a lasso to wrangle 'em into your belly! But the real MVP here is the queso. Oh, señor queso, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Creamy, cheesy, and oh-so-delicious, it's like a warm hug for your taste buds. Seriously, if I could bathe in this stuff, I would. So, if you're in the mood for some south-of-the-border deliciousness, do yourself a favor and mosey on down to Mr. Cactus. And hey, this review definitely deserves a free queso, don't you think? ????“

“This is probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant we have been to in South Carolina. The atmosphere is Mexican and very inviting, the staff was courteous and attentive and the food was delicious. Coming from Texas it has been hard to find a restaurant with any authenticity to Mexican food. We will definitely be back!!!“

“After driving past this restaurant many times, I decided to give them a try. The restaurant was clean, not crowded and the staff friendly. After my failed attempt at the Mexican Bakery El Buen Pan to get a Tres Leches cake I tried La Casita. My order was to go, I ordered the cake for my co worker, a quesadilla and a churro for myself. The menu is extensive with some of everything on it. They have a small self serve salsa bar with disposable gloves. Placed there for people to hopefully use them. Notice I said hopefully. The patrons at the other table didn't do this of course, no fault of the restaurant. My wait time wasn't too long. The churro was warm and rolled in cinnamon and sugar, the outside was crispy and the inside was soft and chewy. The quesadilla was crispy and had seasoned shredded chicken breast and cheese inside. The Tres Leches cake was a chocolate cake, it didn't look like other tres leches cakes I've seen, the presentation was a hmmmm. I can't give my opinion on the taste, I'll leave that to the coworker I got the cake for. It's a nice restaurant that I would order from again.“

“Immediately upon arrival, we were served with menus and then chips with salsa and it was plenty. Then we ordered and my wife chose the Texas Fajitas along with the beans and rice. I chose the 2 chicken Fajitas with beans and rice as well. Plus, I added 1 soft taco. This food was so incredibly good we found we couldn't stop eating and so enjoyed it. A friend from my wife's work recommended this restaurant and now we have a new to go to. BTW...this enjoyable experience with 2 waters with lemon was only $27.06. We were amazed and the food was excellent.“

“First time eating here. We went for lunch and were sat at our table immediately upon entering the building and our server was at our table within 1-2 minutes or less. Food was hot and delicious, service was perfect, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Our server was nothing but polite, professional, attentive, friendly and personable. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, looks to be very clean, and feels much more spacious than many other similar restaurants in the area. Will definitely be returning in the near future!“
