Walked in hungry, left hungry. When this restaurant first started serving Caldo de res, I was thrilled, because it was delicious. The rice was served on the side as it should be, that way the rice doesn't soak up the liquid in the soup and turn it into rice paste. It was full of potatoes and carrots, the broth was nice and thin like a soup broth should be. The caldo de res was the primary reason that I would go to this restaurant. When they first put it on the menu I was absolutely thrilled. It was absolutely delicious. It used to be really good. It had big chunks of potatoes and carrots in it, the rice was served on the side, there was a lot of broth, so a few days ago I ordered it, and it was nothing but beef and rice, there wasn't any broth, the rice soaked up all the broth, so it was just basically beef and rice soup, no vegetables....read full review
