Casa Carrion Reviews
Moved to this area about 18 months ago….and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant! Just now getting to Lyman and I think I found my favorite ?. Quick efficient service and served my marg without the salt. Extra points for friendliness and flavor!!
We tried Casa Carrion for the first time today & it was awesome !!! We will definitely be bk !! I give it a 10 !!!
I have been eating here for over four years (since they opened) and I can't believe that I haven't reviewed this place before now. If someone told me that I could only have one food for the rest of my life, it would probably be Casa Carrion. I am very picky about food from other cultures and tend to "play it safe" with my menu options. At Casa Carrion I have tried so many things and never had a bad meal. The cheese dip is the best ever. Bean dip and Casa dip are also awesome....read full review

Casa Carrion is a homey restaurant with a very diverse menu, including many types of seafood and standard food choices. The lunch menu is good and varied. The food is scrumptious, pretty good, and topnotch, with excellent options like the 4 meat option for fajitas. Some flavors are not as good as other places, but it cannot be called bad. A specific dish, the casa birria tacos, was not a favorite for one diner.
The restaurant serves chips and refried beans before the meal, with crisp light tortilla chips and bean dip. There is a salsa bar, but the salsa just isn't that good and seems like an afterthought. Portions for sides like sour cream and guacamole can be stingy. The top shelf margarita and the pete's mojito from the bar are very good and great.
Service is great teamwork, quick, friendly, welcoming, and decent, though it can vary when the place is very busy. The inside is small with limited seating and can feel a bit cramped. Parking is definitely a challenge. The restaurant is a very lucky find and is highly recommended, a solid experience for Mexican comfort food where you cannot go wrong.
