“Moved to this area about 18 months ago….and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant! Just now getting to Lyman and I think I found my favorite ?. Quick efficient service and served my marg without the salt. Extra points for friendliness and flavor!!”

“I ordered a pizza this evening, and due to a miscommunication between my husband and me, our pizza ended up sitting at the restaurant for well over an hour before anyone came to pick it up. Totally our fault. I called to apologize, explain what happened, and check to see if the pizza was still there. They checked and said it was, so I headed over to grab it. When I arrived, a gentleman (I’m assuming the manager) asked if I would like them to remake the pizza. I told him no because the mix-up was completely my fault. He said he wouldn’t be happy paying $25 for a cold pizza and insisted on making us a fresh one. I even offered to pay for the new pizza, but he said, “That’s not the type of business we run.” Within about 10 minutes, they had a fresh pizza ready for me and they still gave me the original one too. They absolutely didn’t have to do that, and the situation was entirely on us, but they went out of their way to make sure we left with good quality food. That kind of service really means a lot. “Aspen Street Sweets provided treats for the Woodruff School Employees. Not only are they the sweetest people but their offer the best treats. Bellview Baptist Church will definitely be a return customer.”

“I had the most delicious fish sandwish at M&J Restaurant today for lunch. The server was attentive and prompt with drinks, and the food was piping hot when brought to the table. We all enjoyed the restaurant very much and we will go there again as our son lives in Lyman and it is close to his house. They have lots of TVs so I bet for fotball games the place really fills up.”

“Delicious food and quick service! I would recommend the hunan beef and scallops, general tso’s chicken, and the egg rolls. All the food was fresh and the portion sizes were large. This restaurant will be a go-to for ordering out!”

“Go to place every week. Typically get shrimp/chicken plate. Reminds me of Kampi Tokyo for flavor. Compared with Fujis - I like the vegetables here more as Fuji is too salty. I like the Fiji chicken better / for the shrimp Sakura is better BUT I wish they'd remove the tails. I prefer the rice at Sakura as well. Would be interested in a low carb option, maybe half meat and half vegetables. I tried swapping rice with vegs at Fuji and it was a salty mess... dont get me wrong I love Fujis and was their first customer many years ago in Spartanburg location... Just using to compare / what it would take to get 5 stars. Also, add mushrooms to veg!

Took me awhile to go here the first time as it does look run down. Some TLC would likely attract more people. Hence 2 on atmosphere.”

“I had the opportunity to stop at Arby's in Lyman the other day and I have to say the food was freshly made, the store was extremely clean and a young lady by the name of KeeKee served me, she was so pleasant and professional, with a smile on her face and thanked me for eating at Arby's. I will definitely return because of her positive, pleasant attitude.”

“The food is top tier! The staff is amazing! However, the inside is kinda gross and in desperate need of decor updates. At least get the supplies out of the front so people can dine in. If they did that it would be 5 stars.”

“The absolute, best desserts, hands-down. Everything is definitely homemade, the banana pudding is fantastic. I’ve been to a lot of dessert places and typically everything is just too sweet for me and I can only eat one or two bites, but not here….for the cakes, they are sweet, but not overly sweet and so moist. Icing is like a buttercream with the perfect amount of sweet and melt in your mouth texture. I never leave reviews, so this place must be pretty good lol. Just a random day ordering desserts on DoorDash because I was craving something sweet…. didn’t know I’d end up finding my favorite sweets place. Thank you!!! Just want to add, that Keylime and strawberry cake is phenomenal !”

“Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish was great the Manager was so friendly and professional . I could tell they were having a rough time, but They never missed a beat our food was hot and fresh and the staff was friendly. Me and my husband eat here a few times a week. Last night they informed us that the lobby was closed because they were short staffed. But the Manager went ahead and took our order and told us we could dine in and that made my night I had a complicated order and I mentioned to him that they never get it right. This young man took my order and went and made it himself ensuring it was right and did it right. Kevin was his name. Thank you Kevin for everything you are the real MVP you have pleasant personality that contributes to a positive environment I see your coworkers enjoy working with you.
