I’m not a big red meat person however I make an expectation when I come here the southerner is out of this world especially with their fries!! ?? they say they’re homemade and I 100% believe them. They have plenty of delicious chicken and vegetarian options as well! (The chicken salad is too die for and you get SO much) The owners are really sweet and you can tell they care about their customers! Di, who makes all their deserts AND buns, makes some of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had!! I will 100% be back and recommending to everyone I know.”

“The art that splashes the walls here is just a small taste of what is about to be an amazing lunch if you eat here. All food I could tell was ten to twenty dollars a plate. Majority being on the cheaper side. Greeted with chips and mild/hot salsa seconds from entering the door in a packed restaurant. Me and my parents tried several different meals. ( The bistick Mexicano I can't recommend more it was utterly delicious) This is a hard working restaurant that respects the flavors of Mexico.”

Located off of Hwy 29, Hidden Bean is literally a Hidden Gem in terms of location and caffeinated offerings. It’s located in the basement of an old house, the atmosphere is quaint, eclectic and filled with the aroma of fresh baked goods.Give the Honey Latte a try. It’s not too sweet and topped with just the right amount of caramel drizzle.”

If you can't finish the meal, take it to go for a second meal time! It's worth every penny.Every time I walk in the owner is here working hard and welcomes me with open arms. When you're here, you're family.Lastly, there's something here for every age group. “Nice new addition to the Eastside of GVL! Really enjoyed the focaccia bread with spreads appetizer - so good. I tried a mocktail the bartender created that was very good and not too sweet. The burger was very good and flavorful, as well. The fries weren't anything exciting but they were French fries so they did the job. The oysters were good - not the best I've had in the area but the flavor was good especially with the jus to pour over them. The service was a bit lacking on my visit and drink refills were pretty slow but it may have just been an off night, which happens!! The overall vibe and ambience was casual and contemporary but still had an upscale feel. Definitely enjoyed overall and would return to try lunch options!”

“My mother and I made a purchase on marketplace that took us on an unexpected road trip of sorts. We were lost and decided to adventure until we found somewhere to eat and ran up on the clock. It was crowded so we thought this place must be good. We went in and met our waitress (Pamela) and asked her recommendations. She said the turkey and dressing was wonderful so we both ordered it. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Only the 2nd place that I liked it from. Everything was so good. The waitress was friendly and patient with all of our questions and requests. The portions on my plate allotted for plenty of sharing with the table, too!This place offers such a unique experience, I’ve never eaten at a restaurant… cafeteria… automat sort of place like this before but I hope this starts a trend!There is NO better place to go with a group of friends or family members for dinner than Cartwright Food Hall, where everyone can have what they want and eat in a clean, quiet, and comfortable cafe.Vegetarian options: Check out the Jamaican Cafe or the Sushi spot, as both have several offerings of “vegetable side dishes” or meatless appetizer options.”

Mocha's Mug, I have to say, is one of the rare coffee shops that started out as a great spot...and is now superb. It seems like they're always making tiny improvements to this or that (already good) thing, meaning that the overall appeal of this shop just keeps growing! Their enduring commitment to serving their best and greeting each customer with a smile is truly the mark of Mocha's Mug.Pros:- *Fresh,* delicious bakery items (Literally everything I've tried here has been outstanding...and often still warm from the oven when ordering first thing in the morning! “Always forget about this place and then I get mad at myself when I go, remember how good it is, and how many substandard pastries I’ve eaten from other places.The mini cheesecakes are one of the best things I’ve ever had! The mango one is outstanding! And you can’t go wrong with the pineapple pastry sticks or the apple cinnamon pastry sticks This visit we also tried the coconut chocolate chip bars…so yummy and the mini chocolate bundt cake. Can’t review of the cake, my daughter wouldn’t let me have any of it. “This is one of my “throwback” restaurants in the Spartanburg area. Although not frequently, I have eaten at this restaurant for more than 50 years. It is no longer owned or operated by the Holmes family, but the food is just as good as it was decades ago.BTW, the fries here are excellent as are the hot dogs.”
