My former favorite sushi place shut down recently, but I just found my new go-to spot at Sushi Masa!Ate there for lunch, and had a 10/10 experience.- The restaurant is an intimate space and feels very cozy.- The wait staff was welcoming and attentive.- I ordered the sushi & chicken teriyaki bento box. Sushi was fresh and food was so flavorful. Everything was great, and I plan on being back soon!
Last night was our weekly date night, and I chose to try Sushi Masa for the first time for both of us. We didn't make reservations which we will next time. While waiting to sit at the sushi bar, a table opened up for us. We started off with the Mussels Yaki and Gyoza. They were delicious! Some of the best Gyoza I've had in a long time. This is the best Japanese food in town. Quick, clean, and authentic. I've traveled in Japan extensively and the food really scratches that itch when I'm missing it - updating my review a year later to add this is still one of my and my coworkers favorite lunch spots. The staff is super friendly as well.
