“We had sushi, curry and an appetizer. Delicious. The sushi is packed with flavor. The curry is so savory I saved some for lunch tomorrow and we tried baby octopus. If you close your eyes it’s worth it. The experience here was therapy for my taste buds. ”
“My wife and son had dinner with me here Saturday night. We were presently surprised at our good the food was. We had crab cakes, sliders, Cajan pasta, and great drinks. Jackie the owner came out after cooking our meal to greet us. What a wonderful and very interesting lady. We highly recommend eating at the Crate!”

“Went for lunch. Had the smothered cube steak in mind when heading there, but that has been discontinued. Figured I'd get that stuffed fish, again discontinued. Settled for the lunch prime rib with the cheese mashed potatoes and it did not disappoint. The waitress was a little old lady and was as pleasant as could be... As well as a great waitress.”
“I should have posted here years ago. I have just read the reviews for the first time at the time of my writing this review.I know that I am recognized there and I recognize some of the employees. I have purchased from here many times and many different types fish and shellfish. Usually, I am getting sashimi grade Ahi and Mahi, which has always been outstanding. I let them know what I intend on making and the shape and sizes prepared for me have been thought out.Always great quality and great prices. I'm buying for myself not a restaurant. I like that I don't have to purchase large quantities or whole fish.I call ahead and get my order prepared sometimes a day ahead, sometimes the same day. I'm not a restaurant so I understand that they are really doing me a service; I am not keeping them in business. Many wholesalers in the industry don't want to deal with the public for the very reason that is expressed in some of the negative reviews. Fisherman can't always go out, they don't always catch what they want or know how much they'll catch. The markets don't always have what you want because they only have fresh catches. Big orders and regular customers come first. And if you are willing to eat fish that has been out of the water for days - go to the supermarket. The staff has always been polite and appropriate; I don't actually want a hug or need a new BFF. I want fish fit for making my own sushi and I have been using the fish from G.U.S.T.O. at least three meals a week.”
“We don't often have Mexican and had not found a good Mexican restaurant in the Upstate, but on whim stopped at Guacamole. This restaurant provided good service, with reasonable dispatch, and generally very tasty food. The fresh guacamole made at the table was very satisfying. There is a considerable variety of dishes, and we found the Trio Tacos good, and particularly the chicken taco. The only real negative was that we found the black bean sides not so good. The cost was very reasonable. We will return.”
“Charity is the most professional bartender I have ever met. After missing a flight I decided to eat at Wolfgang Puck's bar and Charity comforted me with her outstanding service. The food is great too. I often go there due to the great experience I had. Thanks Charity!”
“Went there early on a Saturday for lunch before any lunch rush, staff was very polite and attentive. I had the meatloaf which was absolutely ridiculous, the best meatloaf I’ve had no joke, not crazy sweet with a gallon on ketchup like some places it was just right and the fried okra was amazing. FYI if you get the meatloaf get your side boxed up because you won’t be able to eat it. Our bill was around 50 bucks for two because we got appetizers and extra side but the entree was only 12.99 before tax! My wife had the fish and chips and wouldn’t shut up how juicy the fish still was after a good frying. Go show this place some love and try it out. There’s even a beautiful outside area to sit and eat by the water. I wish I had pics for the review but no point in spoiling go see for yourself.”
“Ate here for the first time last weekend. The waitress was very friendly and everything else was just average. Had to wait about 35 minutes for our food after we ordered, even though there were only 1 other table with customers and they were already eating. The food was pretty good but not great.”
“What an amazing local restaurant! Shared my lunch experience with a friend and just had a wonderful time. We both had the Roasted Roma Tomato Tart With Fresh Greens and added a Grilled Chicken Breast. The staff is fantastic and our server Stephanie is absolutely the best. Definitely the standout restaurant in Greer!”
