“Never been to a Waffle House being from the North, I was pleasantly surprised the food was great, fast, and great service. Only issue is they didn’t change their gloves between raw eggs/ bacon with handling prepared RTE food. As long as I don’t get food poisoning I’m a happy camper :)“

“We have had two wonderful experiences at this First Watch. Excellent food and service and highly recommend. However, what I do NOT recommend is purchasing gift cards from the company’s online website. We ordered one as a gift on 12/2 and it was to be mailed. Our credit card was charged on 12/2, but as of today, it has still NOT been shipped. We called and it was difficult to completely understand the lady on the phone. She said she would have them “reship” even though we can see it was NEVER sent in the first place. Confirmation number was given when pressed but it was the same as order number. Now, we are left unsure if it will ever arrive. This has left a bad taste in my mouth.“

They have great food and great service. I love all the desserts and, my personal favorite, the coffee bar. I always get a hazelnut cappuccino with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon. I am a coffee fanatic and this coffee is fantastically good. PS It pairs well with the Tiramaseu that I order before my meal.

The service is also excellent. Always happy friendly and helpful. They are also attentive with checking in and topping off drinks. Mind you when they're swamped it may not be as fast as usual but that's to be expected.

If you and your family decide to eat here you won't be disappointed. I am a proud return customer and if I lived a bit closer I'd be a regular... which is probably for the best since spending my paycheck here would be worth every penny.

“We were in the area and decided to stop in for breakfast. Had a long line ahead of us, but it moved along quickly and our food was out in a very reasonable time. The food was absolutely delicious and they have a good selection of coffee to choose from. I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

Wait staff did not get our drink order in a timely fashion, food was delivered to the table at separate times, my wife ran out of drink, and my over easy egg was not properly cooked. “This I hop on Woodruff rd was good. Food was good service good and it was alright. It has been consistent since 1990s. I can tell they have a new chef and manager but so far it's still good on Woodruff rd. Simpsonville horrible and it need a whole new staff . But Woodruff rd is doing good.“

“Had the spicy chicken biscuits. It was good, the chicken was a crazy thick piece and crispy. The biscuit was great, classic southern butter biscuit. The hashbrown was okay, it was crispy but not burnt, however, it didn’t have much seasoning but that’s okay ketchup helps lol. There was no line so that was nice to get in and out fast. Definitely will be back to try more options.

“Visited Saturday morning. The food was good. Crew was very professional and did a great job. The manager deserves credit for handling 2 ignorant cutomers that were loud and obnoxious. He was very professional. The entire staff did a great job, including the cook, but he was not in uniform, he was in a hoodie, but he still did a great job. I would recommend this waffle house. Great job.“
