“Stopped in for dinner as we stayed overnight at a nearby hotel. Huge menu with a ton of options. Portions are very large. Everything we had was great, no complaints on the food. Our oldest son asked to go back the next day. Glad we tried Stax.“
“Came in on a busy Saturday morning. My brother and his wife got their food fairly quickly but our meal was taking quite a while. Alex, the GM, came by and acknowledged it and comped our meal. That was an incredible response and was greatly appreciated. Things aren't always perfect but that was how to keep a loyal customer!!!!“
“Review of First Watch Restaurant:⭐⭐⭐⭐I've been eagerly anticipating a visit to First Watch Restaurant for breakfast for quite some time now, drawn in by the positive reviews and its convenient location near my home. Upon arrival, I was initially disappointed by a minor hiccup in service, but ultimately left impressed by the overall experience. When I walked in and requested a booth, the hostess kindly suggested a seat at the bar with a view. Although I wasn't aware they had a bar, I agreed. Unfortunately, I found myself waiting for acknowledgment for about 10 minutes, even though there was someone clearly present. Feeling a bit neglected, I almost left, but I decided to give it another shot. After requesting a booth for service, I was promptly re-seated, and that's when my experience took a turn for the better. A very pleasant server approached me and took the time to walk me through the menu, which I greatly appreciated as a first-timer.For my order, I opted for black coffee alongside the Morning Meditation Fresh Juice, a delightful concoction of orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet, with an extra wellness shot of antioxidant-rich vitamins. The juice was refreshing and packed with flavor, while the coffee hit the spot perfectly. As for my main dish, I selected "The Works Omelet," but with a few modifications to suit my taste preferences. I switched out the cheddar cheese for gruyere, added goat cheese (because who doesn't love goat cheese in their omelet?), and swapped the multi-grain toast for English muffins. Although there was a slight oversight with the toast initially, the server promptly rectified it by bringing out an English muffin. Both versions were tasty, and I appreciated the quick response to correct the mistake. The omelet itself was a delight, packed with ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted crimini mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes, all topped with all-natural sour cream. The potatoes served alongside were equally delicious, though I was disappointed to learn they were out of the Bob's Red Mill Buttered Grits, which I had been eager to try.Once I received proper service, everything flowed smoothly. The food was superb, and as I observed other orders being served around me, everything looked equally splendid. While the initial lack of attention detracted slightly from my experience, I must commend the staff for their prompt resolution and the overall quality of the food and beverages. With a bit of improvement in initial service, First Watch Restaurant would undoubtedly earn a solid 5-star rating from me. Nonetheless, considering the exceptional food and drinks, I will definitely be returning to reevaluate my review in the future.Overall, my breakfast experience at First Watch was enjoyable, and I look forward to my next visit.“
“I have to start out by saying this place brings you back to your southern roots from the moment you walk in the door. Such a cool spot with local artists painting on the wall and some really old and neat decor. I have had their breakfast here several times and their Driver omelette is amazing. Today we went for lunch and heard that they are famous for their tomato pie. After trying it, I can definitely see why!!! It is a quiche baked into a flakey pie crust (like chicken pot pie) with sliced oven roasted homegrown tomatoes seasoned to perfection. This is the best thing I have ordered from here by far. I had Mac and cheese which was ok but their collared greens and sweet potato casserole were great! The servers are great with fast southern style service that makes you feel like you are part of the family. If you are wanting a great breakfast or lunch with amazing food and people, The Hungry Drover is the place to be! Make sure before you leave, you buy a homemade cinnamon roll that is so sweet and fresh and the size of a dinner plate. Highly recommend“
“Over priced for breakfast food. Sirloin is best I've had but the food looked thrown together. Wasn't very impressed. Service was fair, but still better than most in Greenville where these servers need to learn how to actually serve, and do so with a smile.“
“I got chicken and waffles, it did not disappoint at all. Really good texture and the perfect conflict of sweet and spice. Service was cool, they asked me who I’d give a waffle to and that was the name they called me for my order up. A legit place to eat, I liked it and would definitely go back and expand to other regions of the menu.“
“I came down to see my sister 3 days after Christmas. The day that I was leaving to go back home, I wanted to find a place to eat breakfast. I used Google maps and it showed that this place was nearby. I went there and had a Texas farmhouse omelet with home fries. They added cheddar cheese onions and peppers to it for about 3 more dollars. The food and coffee was fantastic. I must say though what impress me the most was the service. My server was Katie. This is the kind of person that every restaurant wants to interact with customers. She greeted me when I walked in the door, sat me at a table and waited on me. She was very pleasant and smiled. And she was very competent at her job. Marvelous job Katie.“
“Wow, I can definitively say this is the best biscuit I've ever had. I've lived in the south for 35+ years, so that's no light statement. A simple "walk up and order" setup. nice, large area with various sized tables and friendly staff. The food is wonderful and *absolutely* worth a try if you haven't been.“
“We go here about once a month for breakfast. Our food has been very good. Candy always waits on us and she is great! Another waitress (I call her "The Cackler" because she has a loud, disruptive, and cackling laugh) often stands around talking with clients, does not seems to do her job, has this horrible "cackle" of a laugh, and her personality takes over the restaurant. She is obnoxious and should be disciplined.“
“I will say my experience here wasn't bad at all and the food was pretty good, but I pd over $15.00 for it and my order was very simple, and there was nothing extra or special thrown in. Butter and sugar is all. I REALLY thought that was a bit much. Unless there's some steak thrown in somewhere there. Lol!“
“Our waitress was amazing! It's sad to even see people of retired ages being forced to work. This sweet southern woman was so kind and so patient...I left her a large tip and she cried. You never know what someone is going through! I will return to sit in her section and continue to be her customer on Sundays. Bless her heart. If you go here, look for her. You can't miss her. The light shines in her so bright, that people see it!Parking: Plenty of space.Kid-friendliness: Always a good environment for kids. You don't hear foul talk from the kitchen staff here like you do in others.“
“I pickup food often at this location. Great staff, great food and great service! Great outdoor seating area!Special shout out to Christina for noticing a minor flaw in my order and personally going above and beyond. We all strive for perfection but life is not perfect and how we handle situations speaks volumes - thank you Christina! I highly recommend!!“
“This IHOP location is the best one around! Pat , the manager, makes sure everything is perfect! Neshia was our server, and we could not be happier. She was the best server and made our visit impeccable! I can't recommend this place enough! Even if you think it's too busy to get a seat readily, give it a go. They turn tables over quickly, and we have not had a wait ever.“
“It is my understanding that they may be getting rid of the punch rewards card that allows customers to get a free meal after seven purchases. That may be a mistake as far as we are concerned. My wife and eat there more frequently because of the rewards card. If it is taken away, even though we love the food and the great service, we may not eat there as frequently. Thought you would want to know. We are frequent customers at Eggs Up in both the Moore and Greer restaurants.“
“I have been to this restaurant a few times. The service is always great. The employees take pride in their restaurant which makes a huge difference. The parking lot is even spotless!I highly recommend this location.Nathan and Crystal were very welcoming. I manager and our server were also very friendly. Sat down, ordered food, ate, and made it back to work within the hour. Can't beat that ?“
“On our way home, my friend and I went out for breakfast at the waffle house. The location in Greenville was pretty busy. We had a nice little girl as our waitress. She came right then to get our order. I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs and ham. It was really tasty and good at the same time. My friend got pork chops, eggs, and a waffle. It looked so good. She said it was also tasty. It was the first time I have seen two cooks working at the same time in a while. I know now that is the best breakfast spot on that side of Greenville. I will visit again!“
“Oh my word, the food was phenomenal, and the service was out of this world! They were very busy but Jeff made sure to still give us excellent service as well as keeping us updated on the food the whole time. We were a party of 6 which I know is a little hectic at a Waffle House but Jeff was the best!“
“Much better with new staff at this one-I once vowed not too good back because of the bad service about year ago, but since it is almost right in my neighborhood, I tried it again. Pleasantly surprised. I would have given 5 Stars, but the grits tasted somewhat greasy, not buttery.“
“Waffle House 875 has Awesome staff, great service, delicious food, clean restaurant, and makes happy babies! Thank you for the lovely meal and delightful atmosphere. Definitely will have to come again soon.Kid-friendliness: Fun hats, crayons, coloring, and Butterfly Waffles!“
“We normally just get take out but decided to dine in. So glad we did I have to say Samantha won us over with her exceptional service. She gave us the best service we have ever received at a dine in restaurant. She was very attentive and kept our drinks full. Give that girl a raise she deserves it. Good job Ms. Lady and we will definitely be returning and will be requesting Samantha as our server.Parking: Parking lot needs work“
“Went for breakfast and I ordered a two egg breakfast with bacon and toast. The eggs were a little oily but the bacon is AMAZING! Service was good, very professional and courteous. The manager is very inviting. Just a great place to get some decent food.“
“I walked in for a take out after a rush and the place was clean! The Staff was Amazing, very Friendly! Everyone was working quietly and doing their job as a Unit. I'd definitely recommend this place after a long plane ride.Kid-friendliness: Has a jukebox for musicWheelchair accessibility: Easy on ramp“
“My family and I had a great time eating here last Friday! Everyone was super friendly, and the cook definitely impressed us with his memorization for all the orders he was preparing!Parking: Waffle House on Wade Hampton boulevard, in Taylors South Carolina.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for children, and made my daughter feel like a star!“
