We were there during lunchtime on a Monday, and our food still came out unbelievably fast and was delicious!Service was great, and our server was attentive. She never let our drinks become empty, and she was very friendly.“

“Friendly place, good food, and good service. This is a homey Southern "meat and three," but you can choose how many sides you want. The sides include not only vegetables but nice rich macaroni & cheese as well as the dessert of the day, such as banana pudding. The servings are generous; for example, my husband had plenty of turkey with his turkey and dressing.Parking: We arrived at a busy time, a little after noon. We found nearby parking, but we might not have if we had been much later--not sure.“

“I have been craving chicken liver. I found out they make them at Theos. I called in to order them and was told that the order of chicken livers was large. And they were not kidding. I got a big box full. Some fries, toast and brown gravy for under $14. And they were delicious. I live in Wilmington NC and they do not make them like this in Wilmington. I have visited this restaurant in the past and have had many items from the menu. You won’t leave hungry and you won’t leave disappointed. Great food. Great staff.“
“Love this restaurant! I've eaten here many times, for lunch, and the food is consistently delicious and the dine-in experience is always pleasant. When ordering at the drive-thru, sometimes it's difficult to hear if the associate speaks too fast and cuts off the speaker before they finish their comment or question. My favorite plate is the hamburger steak, fries and cobbler, with a sweet tea.“
“We have lunch about one time per week at A & P. The food is always great, hot, and tasty. My favorite is the marinated chicken with collard greens. The service is consistently good. The same girls and cooks are there everyday. This tells me that the working owner/manager that we see during every visit knows how to treat his employees. His employees' loyalty and good service are a testimony to him.We also like the new menu with the new items.
