“Anyone who has grown up (and old-ish) in these parts should appreciate this little restaurant. The view inside and through the windows to the busy intersection probably hasn't changed in decades. The food is exactly what you would expect, only more so. It's awfully appropriate to eat a chili cheeseburger in a place like this, so that's what happened today - and we are happier campers for it. Using the same ingredients as countless other short order joints, Clock #5 manages to somehow put it all together in a better way! Giving it 5 stars for the tasty CCBs, the experience, the nostalgia, the vintage view and the likelihood of heading back soon.“

“This is your typical diner atmosphere. The people are down to earth, friendly, & have much repeat business. They probably know all of their customers by name. Always busy. I only get the Philly cheese steak sandwich, but I feel it is the best. “The food is always on point here. I eat here often as I am able. It can be a bit crowded at times but that's to be expected when you have good service and food. I always TIP the servers here, as a former waitress myself I know how slammed you can be and busy and hard working and to top it off by being kind to customers is a plus. It's a good look so I ALWAYS pay attention to how I am treated with service. I do want to recommend this place for ALL meals. Breakfast lunch dinner dessert they have it all. They serve some really delicious fried chicken! Especially the breast. It's juicy flavorful and crunchy and good! I'm a Southern woman so I gotta have fried chicken! ?? I highly recommend it. I love their burgers to and hotdogs! They always are good. those cooks don't play around. Its comfort Southern food here and the sweet tea is good. i recommend the broccoli and cheese casserole. I love the pot roast too. Y'all it's all ? good. I do want to pinpoint Heatherly as she told me she has been there 10 years. Her service is great. She has a very good attitude and is ALWAYS kind! I recommend her and if you go I'd ask for her. I didn't see her stop smiling once. I come here for breakfast and dinner so I'll keep coming here as long as it going like it is. “I have been coming here for years and my only complaint is that they no longer serve breakfast. It used to be one of the best breakfast at a reasonable price but unfortunately due to circumstances out of their control it's now a thing of the past like their chicken wings ? However the staff is still amazing as well as the owners and it's still a wonderful place for lunch or dinner!“

The sides include not only vegetables but nice rich macaroni & cheese as well as the dessert of the day, such as banana pudding. The servings are generous; for example, my husband had plenty of turkey with his turkey and dressing.Parking: We arrived at a busy time, a little after noon. We found nearby parking, but we might not have if we had been much later--not sure.“
“The restaurant sits directly off the highway not as I thought (tucked in a side road, more country). Having said that, we were there for breakfast 1) the place was spotless, clean! 2) food was good, right out of Grandma's kitchen 3) service was prompt and friendly.“
