“We had the very BEST experience with not only the food being delicious, but the staff was exceptional. Very kind, patient and thoughtful! We visited with our kids and they gave us coloring books for the kids, endless coffee and the darling cook made a heart shaped pancake for my son. Will def recommend and be back many times!“
“Bargello was a nice surprise. Located in the Arris (Kimpton Hotel) in downtown Asheville (close to everything Asheville) is the place to go for brunch on Sunday morning. The eclectic menu had just what everyone in our party wanted for brunch. From the classic Cubano, to a delicious take on Eggs Benedict, to Avacado toast and sumptuous French toast, everthing was delicious and the service was superb. Asheville has plenty of brunch options, and this option delivered.“
“Second time visiting the area and getting some lunch, and as usual I was in the mood for wings. So a quick Google search for the best wings in Asheville and this placed pulled up so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I got 16 wings, split between the Tigers and Hot, and they were awesome. I love breaded fried wings, and the Tigers were great, the Tiger sauce was killer! Hot was good too, but I'll do 16 Tiger next time. Blue cheese and ranch were made from scratch and complimented the wings well. Looks like a happening spot for drinks too. The guy next to me got the chicken sandwich and it was huge! If you're in town, go check it out.“
“Falafel is phenomenal. Texture is fantastic and not dry at all. Baba ganoush was tasty and a good product. Beef shawarma is well above average too. Only thing I had the they can work on is the tabbouli. It’s a bit bland but it tastes fresh. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food but the overall experience is very positive.“
“Fig Bistro was a very delicious! The potato bacon soup was pretty flavorful and a bit different then potato soup that I’m used to - less chunky and more smooth. The market fish was a trout was delicious with more of a citrus taste. The salmon was tasty with a bit of a lighter buttery flavor. The apple tart dessert was very good as well! Our waiter was very attentive. The place was smaller but comfortable.“
“The food is amazing. It's Authentic Greek and you can immediately taste it. Not to mention portion size is huge and prices are amazing. Staff personality leaves a little to be desired but could've just been some1s bad day. The atmosphere isn't bad just bland but who cares bc you're there to eat and the food is amazing.Vegetarian options: Definitely has vegetarian options available and adjustments can be made to other meals offeredDietary restrictions: They are great about making adjustments to whatever they can when askedParking: Good parking available at Hendersonville rd. Location, a ton of parking available at Arden location.Kid-friendliness: Great family place and I believe family owned so good kid friendly environmentWheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible and has plenty of handicap parking“
“On the 2/20 we found this Resturant, we love greek food. I'm a Vietnam veteran I wear my hat bearing this status. The server saw it but offered no discount. On 2/22 we go back as we like greek food, again wearing my Vietnam hat, server or cashier didn't offer discount for food. The irony is that in the lobby the owner has a display, where he is honored for his support for veterans. Like I said the staff didn't offer any discounts, then again they may not offer any discounts.“
“Delicious Middle Eastern food! As an Arab I was reminded of my grandmas cooking. The falafel was incredible, hummus was delicious, and the grape leaves were perfectly rolled. Staff was super sweet, portions were very good, and the price was very affordable. Will definitely stop in every time I'm in Asheville.“
“Fabulous food!!!!!Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: Some options, not sure how manyParking: Not much areas for psrkiyKid-friendliness: I know kids were running around and very loud.Acoustics in the building is horrible. Very loud, but the freshness and deliciousness of the food overrides it.Wheelchair accessibility: I do know there were ramps so I assume the accessibility is good.“
“My wife and I enjoyed our meal for lunch here in Ashville at the Twisted Laurel on a rainy day. The food tasted great, but it was not anything particularly exceptional to write home about. They seemed busy/short staffed, but also not really at the same time. I asked a couple of questions about menu items to try and get a sense of what menu choices were the "Go-To's" here, but the only answers I got were "it's just a burger", "it's just a philly cheesesteak", and "it's just a gyro". Hey, I get it. Maybe they are simple seeming menu items, but after those responses, I thought to myself, why I am I here for just a burger? Nothing special, nothing unique, but hey, the Gryo still tasted like a gyro, and that is a win. My wife did enjoy the open-faced Turkey bacon tomato sandwich as well, so I would suggest giving that a try if you visit since it was fairly unique if you are looking for that too.Parking: Nearby street paid parking or paid lots. Street parking seems to be the closest option.“
“Always the best! It is hard to get good Mediterranean food close to where I live so going here is a treat for me. Quality has not changed in the past year. Belly dancer on the Friday/Saturday is always a pleasure to watch as well! Pictured: Jordanian chicken “
