“Amazing seasonal fare served at a 'dolce vida' pace. Service was wonderful, and at whatever speed you wanted. Reservations are a must. They have a great wine list too. They also have a "family dining" option for $75 per person which is a great sampling of many items in the menu that night.“
“I almost skipped on this recommendation on the menu being mostly pizza.. but everything from the olives, anchovy appetizer, to the Bianca and the Parma was all 5/5! Service and atmosphere was to match. I would put this food against some of the best pizza I’ve had— to include even in Italy!I can only imagine those who rated it low were only due to it being too busy or having to wait. We went at around 6/630 and it was right before a dinner rush. Highly recommend.“
“I had been watching pizza reviews for days and was craving a New York style pizza. I ordered the New Yorker, and it did not disappoint. Sweet tomato sauce with mozzarella and Asiago on a thin crust. I ordered the medium-sized pizza, which was plenty for two. Let's be honest, though. I ate the whole thing by myself.“
“Bargello was a nice surprise. Located in the Arris (Kimpton Hotel) in downtown Asheville (close to everything Asheville) is the place to go for brunch on Sunday morning. The eclectic menu had just what everyone in our party wanted for brunch. From the classic Cubano, to a delicious take on Eggs Benedict, to Avacado toast and sumptuous French toast, everthing was delicious and the service was superb. Asheville has plenty of brunch options, and this option delivered.“
“If you are looking for a delicious Italian meal in Asheville, Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian restaurant is the spot to visit! We both started off with side salads: Caesar and Greek. Each table is served complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic. For my entree, I ordered one of the house specialty items: the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken breast used for the dish was MASSIVE and breaded to perfection. My friend ordered the Baked Ziti Penne dish and really enjoyed her meal! There was a small wait, but we got seated within 15 minutes and the food came out very quick. The service was very attentive. If I am in the Asheville area again, I would definitely come back to Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian restaurant.“
“Was traveling back to SC when I felt the need for dinner and totally on a whim chose this place and it was a WINNER! Bread was spectacular. Crusty and soft. Wedding soup was exquisite. My dinner...wow. Just so well done. Service great. Atmosphere a 10. Thanks for a memorable meal.“
“I love their Bolognese sauce. It's so much like what my great Italian neighbors in Brooklyn made. Not only is the food great, but the staff was great. I accidentally locked my keys in the car. Everyone showed caring, especially Matthew, who worked for well over half an hour to help me get into my car. He wouldn't even accept a tip. He was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“I met girlfriends there for lunch. The menu has everything Greek you can crave. Their Greek salad is the best I’ve ever had anywhere, hands down. My combo Gyro Platter had lamb and so much chicken I removed some and took it home for later. The prize was meeting Jimmy the owner, one of my friends had worked for years ago. Delightful man. Often when I’m out, I will order a large Greek salad to go. Oh forgot to mention the desserts, my oh my, they are divine!“
“It's a fantastic place to go me and a coworker of mine are autistic so we do have some issues with food textures and consistency's, the pizza isn't greasy the spaghetti and meatballs are fantastic and the desserts are delicious not to mention they have a fantastic ice cream sandwich selection.“
“I ate here on a business trip, so normally you won't hit up the same place twice, but this place is awesome. The variety is unreal, and the menu is genuinely delicious. I can't wait to go back to that area.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly atmosphere, with romantic privacy.“
“We came here for a business dinner on a weeknight… the staff was great, very friendly and helpful! Menu looked really good too! Wine and cocktail offerings are quite nice. The venue is beautifully decorated, like an old Italian village. The pizza was decent, the bread service was nice. The salad done in a Greco salad was awesome! But that Shrimp Papperdelle was pretty bad! It was watery, had no flavoring, the pasta was overcooked and so was the shrimp. I ended up sending it back. But they took it in stride and continued to provided great service.Overall, I’d definitely return, just try something else next time.“
“Great food at reasonable prices. We had a gyro sandwich and the meatballs. I wish I had a plate of meatballs right now! We will eat here again next time we are in Asheville. We were too hungry to stop for photos!Kid-friendliness: A family restaurant.“
“This place makes the fshngide's ALL STARS!! Did a late lunch on Friday afternoon at 2:30. Absolutely fabulous food and service. My wife and I split the Tuscan Chicken Alfredo lunch and still took a serving for one home! Lilly provided level 5 star plus service and we will definitely come back!Wednesday's is half price bottle wine day, and you get to take the rest home with you!And why is this place not full?!?Wake up Asheville!! You're missing your best kept secret!!A++!!!?????“
“Food was good except for not hot. Everything was Luke warm. If I knew it was gonna barely be warm, I would've ordered it to go so I could've heated it up in the microwave at home. Other than that, the taste of the food was good and the staff are always pleasant!...jaX “
“Awesome selection of beers - loved reading through the assortment of local brews. The bartender was friendly and helpful in terms of guiding me toward what I’d like from the beers available. The food was delicious - simple garlic bread to start, and the BBQ salmon with fresh creamed corn was unbelievable! One of the best salmon dishes I’ve had.Loved how big the bar was, it was easy to find a seat even at a busy time. Great spot!“
“Food was good, menu and restaurant set up were interesting. The crew was great however my mom explicitly said Chicken Alfredo and we received just Alfredo. When the cashier brought us our food, we said “oh this is supposed to be chicken Alfredo.” And his rebuttal was “When I repeated the order back to you I said Alfredo, and you didn’t correct me. You confirmed it.” So that was a little off putting but the pizza was great, I’m from Chicago so it’s hard to find pizza that lives up to it.“
“I love this restaurant, it is such a cozy atmosphere and the staff is so amazing. The food is fantastic and the desserts are as well. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options, especially pastas that are vegetarian.“
“Reminded me of Atlas restaurant in Paris. Every dish was perfect. From the olive tempanade, to the melt-in-your-mouth Mahi Mahi. And the biggest Oysters we've ever seen. Our server's name was Darrin, and he made the best suggestions. Best service. Definitely coming back.Wheelchair accessibility: My mother in law was able to sit at the table with her wheelchair.“
“Best resturant I've been to in a long time, wonderful servers and outstanding food. Gotta give ya'll my compliments to the chefs, as it was honestly the best pasta I've ever had in a resturant. The Shrimp & Scallop Pasta was too die for, I'd highly recommend it if you come to this location. I absolutely loved talking to our main server Gretchen and she was always on top of things everytime she came over to our table! Melissa, you are doing an amazing job as manager, you all keep up the wonderful work! Definitely coming back here next time we're in Asheville!“
“Me and my family came in tonight and we had an amazing server her name was Gracie she had black hair and braces she was very kind, sweet and very patient with us all of are food was correct she brought out everything we needed and never got an attitude when we asked for extra things all around she was great highly recommended ask for her when you go in won’t regret“
“Excellent high quality food just like their original Strada restaurant. Here it is more about small plate meals, which can get a bit pricey. The atmosphere could be a bit more cozy and higher end with the price point they are at.Dietary restrictions: Very willing to cater to people's needs like food allergens.“
