“I was visiting my sisters and their friend in Asheville and was invited to eat at Pizza Mind. My group are all vegetarians, but I am not.They ordered personal sized pizzas with vegetarian toppings. I did get a taste of the Roasted Beets and Cauliflower pizza. It was a very good combination. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a Caesar side salad. The dressing was authentic with anchovies. I'm not a fan of anchovies, but it was so well balanced, I really didn't mind. I ate the whole thing. The Cuban came on a really great bread. I think it was baked locally and was really fresh. The rest of the sandwich tasted good, but a little skimpy on the meats. I'm used to Florida Cuban sandwiches which are plump with meat. I would visit Pizza Mind again on my next trip to Asheville and try a pizza.“
“This place was absolutely amazing. Went here when I was in town visiting family, and now I literally dream about the Pimpin' fried chicken sandwhich! Will definitely be going back everytime I'm in Ashville. Highest quality ingredients, friendly service, clean facility. “On our last night in Ashville we dined at PROPER. We loved it. Everything was delicious. This small restaurant is definitely run by a good chef at the helm of the kitchen. Flavor First! “Another cool find for great food in West Asheville! Lunch on a Monday. They were a bit slow which was fine by us. We sat up at the counter and were greeted right away by super friendly staff. Menu was simple, fresh, scratch and veggie options if you are down for that. There was a full bar, but we didn’t take advantage of that. Even the chef makes a point to ask you how you like the food. And it was better than great. My friend had a special meatball sub on toasted baguette with a lather of pesto sauce and thick slices of fresh, melted mozzarella. I had porkloin scramble with crispy delicious potatoes and two fried eggs, a dash of hot sauce and homemade ranch. “I love their Bolognese sauce. It's so much like what my great Italian neighbors in Brooklyn made.Not only is the food great, but the staff was great. I accidentally locked my keys in the car. Everyone showed caring, especially Matthew, who worked for well over half an hour to help me get into my car. He wouldn't even accept a tip. He was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“This is one of those places where when I discovered it I had to really hold myself back from eating there every day of the week. Just thinking about it makes me need my Old-School Subs fix! I always try to sop up the coleslaw sauce left in the cup or even drink it if nobody’s looking. I sometimes underestimate the importance of the bread when craving a sub and that’s what sets this place apart, the bread being pillowy soft and fresh made and very unique.And then sometimes if you eat somewhere, give it a couple or even a few chances and you might find you really like it and if you went here and didn’t have a good experience, I feel like you just need to give it another shot because I loved it first time I went and from then on.“

“This is a very unassuming, casual place. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I had the Blue Plate Special (a chicken sammy with fries) and a Diet Coke. My wife ordered the pot pie with a locally produced Devil's Foot ginger beer. Our meals were both delicious and the portions were very ample. The service was good and all of the staff was friendly and helpful.“
“I went here for a bagel pop-up in Feb, and it was the best bagel I've had in the area. The cream cheese options were unique and delicious. My boyfriend got the lox bagel and loved it. The employees were super friendly and fast. The only downside is that there's no indoor seating, and all the outdoor seating was taken. This is definitely more of a grab and go place.Parking: Large free parking lot. It's gravel, so it could be a bit muddy if it's been wet.“

I deducted a star because they left off the toppings I ordered for my sandwich delivery and the website needs more descriptives for their menu items. Overall, great food and recommended!“

“Food was good, menu and restaurant set up were interesting. The crew was great however my mom explicitly said Chicken Alfredo and we received just Alfredo. When the cashier brought us our food, we said “oh this is supposed to be chicken Alfredo.” And his rebuttal was “When I repeated the order back to you I said Alfredo, and you didn’t correct me. You confirmed it.” So that was a little off putting but the pizza was great, I’m from Chicago so it’s hard to find pizza that lives up to it.“

“While at the North Carolina Arboretum, we decided to eat lunch here instead of going out to somewhere else. So the location is ideal. If you are planning on spending the day at the Arboretum. The menu is limited, but we each found something we liked. I had the chicken salad sandwich, our friends had the turkey sandwich, and Husband had the hotdogs. All meals came with chips. We had our water bottles, so we didn't need to buy a drink. If we had, there were canned sodas, and bottles of water in a nearby cooler. Friends' white bread was better than my whole grain bread. The whole grain bread was dense and I wanted to taste the chicken salad, so I skipped the bread and ate the chicken salad with a fork. We tried one of their cookies Dash a chocolate chip with walnut and nuts. It was very good. Aside from being pricey, the food was good, and the ambience was very nice. We liked the giant leaves over our heads, and the leaves on the windows.“

The gentlemans name is Isaac and he was patient, affluent and assisted me in ordering and even making sure I had a drink. It's hard finding good people in fast food. “Delicious food and great service. Filet market price in dec 2023 was $62. Loved the goat cheese fritters, and the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts too. Would love to come back in summer, they have garage doors that open to the patio seating. I bet it's awesome. They gave me a free sweet potatoes cheesecake for my birthday, it was awesome. Good wine selection, they even have Lambrusco!“

“Visited 3/25/24. Omg go to rebel burger if you haven't been already-what a solid food truck this is. My biggest regret was that I ate this burger so quick that I didn't have time to take pics. The process is fairly simple, you order via QR code, grab a drink at Hi-Wire if you wish in the meantime, then wait for them to email you that your order is ready. My mom and I split a rebel burger and an abundance bowl. The only thing we couldn't think of was how to tweak the ingredients while ordering online (my mom initially didn't want the mayo), but honestly upon trying the burger, we both admitted the ingredients included were perfection. That is one good burger and the bun was delicious too. And the abundance bowl was just as good-so flavorful and well balanced. A side/smaller version of the abundance bowl would be an awesome option instead of fries as something to go with the burger (we didn't want fries because we had already had some earlier in the day). It works just as well on its own though and is pretty large so you may find yourself with leftovers. This is one food truck you shouldn't miss.“
