About Neng Jr.'s

Neng Jr.'s is a renowned restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience. The menu is creative and to the point, with dishes crafted with dedication by the attentive staff. The open kitchen and intimate 18-seat dining room create a welcoming setting. Standout dishes include Roasted duck and potato, quail, Garlic Shrimp with Dirty Rice and Greens, and Pork Lumpia. The restaurant accommodates dietary restrictions and offers wheelchair accessibility with advance notice. Reservations are recommended, especially for a seat at the bar, to enjoy the culinary delights.

Customers praise the consistently excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Many have visited multiple times and never had a bad meal. The restaurant's cheddar ice cream is a standout. Diners from the Philippines are excited to have a Filipino restaurant in Asheville, finding the dishes fresh, modern, and homey. The sea bass with Thai-style broth is a particular favorite. The restaurant also offers non-alcoholic cocktails. So many fun, tasty plates to choose from. The salad was spot on, the noodle dish was absolutely delicious. Notably the eggplant was amazing as were the noodles and oysters. Love how the menu changes. Also check out the amazing new wine bar in the back.

It came out in a nice order and was made perfectly. Notably, the oysters were delicious and interesting and the pork belly...read full review

Ok so…I wasn’t a fan of the decor but food was so well done, I still gave this place a 5 🌟. This food isn’t cooked, it’s crafted. The adobe oysters 🦪🤯🤤, I wasn’t ready 🤩. Then I had the Tuna Kinialaw(dish has beets), flavors are soooo balanced and intentional. My entree was the chicken inasal, large portion. Not mind blowing but good. The veggies that accompanied it cooked annd seasoned well. And the cocktail,...read full review

All around 5 stars! My mother reserved as a surprise as she knew I have wanted to go since they first opened. This meant we ended up going with our 13 month old and the staff were very kind about it. They didn’t have a high chair for obvious reasons but our baby loved the food as much as we did! The ingredients were fresh and each dish was so well thought out. Sometimes simple, sometimes complex and all with great flavor. Again, the staff were super kind and accommodating...read full review
