“Amazing food, way cheaper than going out and also much healthier! They source almost exclusively from local farms and vendors and mills, and they have a ton of gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options (and also locally sourced meat options). Dinners are roughly $25 for two servings, and you know you're eating healthy and local - very worth it for nights you don't have time to cook but don't want to pay to go out!”

“We love this brewery! The beer is delicious, as is the food. The wide open space next to river is inviting for people and dogs of all ages. We always enjoy spending an afternoon there!”

“My husband and I love the Village Porch. Airy is amazing behind the bar, best dirty martini 🍸 in town. She makes us feel so warm and welcome. We go to watch football, but we stop in often. Our favorite local spot!”
“We ate at the new location on Reynolds Mtn tonight. Best Pork Fried Rice I’ve ever had. The Shrimp egg rolls were delicious as well. Also ordered cheese ragoons and pork pan fried dumplings. Everything was delicious and we will be back soon. Thank you for coming to the north side of town.”

“Fried chicken, as long as you pull off the batter, is fine on keto and that's what we did here this evening. A quick two piece meal - breast and leg - with no side because I've learned from my nutritionist that the cole slaw is NOT a keto compliant side. It has so much sugar, it might as well be dessert!
Anyway, the chicken was hot and we did have to wait a bit for it too cool off so I could remove the batter. And then it was quite tasty. A little hot sauce and that was a good meal.”

“The hype is real. Each item we ordered was perfectly cooked. So many delicious crispy sides we had to try them all. The textures in the arepa were so good. Could eat here every single day.”
“Happy hour: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm M - F
If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.
The happy hour definitely made me want to come back for the full dinner menu! I will 100000% be back.”

“Top three in the restaurants I’ve been to. I’ve had a lot of Filipino food in my life (I’m half and go there sometimes) and this food was amazing. I saw the menu and thought it was pretty neat, but then our server Vic ran through each item and we realized this place was way fancier than it seemed. Everything was authentic, but super fancy. It came out in a nice order and was made perfectly. Notably, the oysters were delicious and interesting and the pork belly was made perfectly. They also had an adobo martini that was an experience I’m glad I had. If you like Filipino food, especially things with vinegar, bagoong, and bitter melon, this place is where you need to go. I’d gladly make a trip to Asheville just to come back here. They also have red horse; if you drink beer and haven’t had it, go get some”

“Every single interaction we had at Limones was sincere, intentional, and well executed. We were greeted and given a place to wait in the lobby with an herbal seltzer. Our server Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave eloquent, robust descriptions of the food as well as his recommendations we requested. We shared the lardo pizza - you should too. This is cellophane thin pork fat rendered just so to melt into incredible cheese and oven fired crust. I would go back for more this second. Every part of our meal exuded that impeccable attention to detail. A ravioli type pasta with ham cornbread and peas was the perfect Appalachian/Italian pairing. The tiramisu was thick, custardy, eggy in the lightest but creamiest way. The pistachio gelato with pistachio syrup was incredible. My only wish would’ve been to try one more dessert but we did make a 9:30 reservation so you roll the dice. That panna cotta sounded wonderful. I could not imagine anyone being less than thoroughly impressed with Limones. My husband was a chef for 20+ years and felt every aspect of a great meal was part of our meal there. 10/10 Limones.”

“Our first time eating at the rooftop restaurant and we are so glad we did. We had pizza-Margarita and the Meatball ricotta. Both delicious. Some shared the chicken wings and crass salad, both very good! Kyndall was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. Also had Affogato for dessert and it was so delicious. Would recommend for anyone.”

“My spouse and I ate here tonight and hands down our new favorite spot! Our server was amazing - very personable. We started with Samosas. For our entires we had Chicken Tikka Masala and Mom’s Chicken Curry with two orders of garlic naan bread. Hands down the best food we’ve ever had! If you get the Samosas, I recommend holding onto the two dipping sauces and dip the garlic naan in them! Chefs kiss 🙂 -Bailey and Payton (BP)”

“On Saturday, February 14th, I went downtown for a solo dinner at Huli Sue’s and quickly realized I had completely forgotten Billy Strings was in town for the weekend. Between Valentine’s Day and a sold-out show within walking distance, downtown was absolute chaos. Walking into Huli Sue’s, though, felt like stepping into a well-oiled machine. The hostess (I truly wish I had gotten her name) greeted everyone calmly and kept the flow of guests organized and welcoming. They were operating on a reservation system for the evening honestly genius given the circumstances. Even as a party of one, the wait was about an hour and a half, which I completely understood. Knowing I was craving their food, she suggested takeout. She even let me sit at the table where they roll silverware so I could look over the menu and wait for my roommate to text their order and never once made me feel rushed. While I waited, I watched her run the entrance like an absolute goddess. She was pleasant, efficient, and incredibly organized. Every table being notified was already set, down to water poured and ready. When guests arrived, she greeted them with genuine enthusiasm and walked them to their tables like they were honored guests. Downtown was a madhouse. People kept walking in without reservations, and she calmly explained the wait. When guests were understandably discouraged, she let them know they were accepting reservations for the 15th and I honestly didn’t hear a single person turn her down. She made everyone feel welcome. Despite the cold and the madness outside, the restaurant remained calm and peaceful inside. Even at full capacity, the volume stayed comfortable. The kitchen ran like an orchestra no yelling, no chaos, no stressed staff just teamwork and smiles. I wanted to take a moment to praise Huli Sue’s, their staff, and their phenomenal hostess. They handled what could have been an overwhelming night with grace and efficiency. They already had my business —but after that experience, I’ll make it a point to go even more often.”

“We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.”

“Couldn’t rave about this place more. The food was insane - every bite we had - we kept going back for more. The cabbage pancake was bursting with flavor, the seafood dip was awesome and the crackers took it over the top - but the nuggets were just out of this world. So flaky, seasoned to perfection - and the sauces - we couldn’t get enough. Truly could have stayed there all day, listening to the music and looking at the decor. Such a rare spot and so jealous this is an every day lunch spot people can enjoy anytime. Can’t wait to get back!”

“I am a foodie/food-snob. I admit it. I am so often disappointed by my restaurant experiences. Last night, my partner and i had one of the best meals in Asheville we can remember. Bold, sensual, well-balanced dishes (somewhere in the neighborhood Charleston's Xiao Bar Biscuit). Off the hook (if a little pricey) wine list.”

“Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Lovely ambience in the space. It feels like the kitchen really cares about the food it brings out. One thing I particularly liked was how well all the dishes were seasoned. A bit of heat here, a bit of spice there, and a dash of sweet when needed. And speaking of sweet, the lemon curd cheesecake is a wonder. I love it when the cheesecake part of the cheesecake isn't oversweet. The lemon curd gives a sweet and tart compliment to the creaminess of the dairy in the dish. It's dangerous, I tell you! We'll be back for more.”

“Absolutely one of the best brisket we ever have! I’m so glad we had the opportunity to visit this place. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, smoky, and full of flavor. You can tell they put real care and passion into their barbecue. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everything tasted homemade and authentic. If you’re anywhere near Asheville, you have to try their brisket ! #AshevilleEats #BBQLovers #BrisketPerfection”
