“For those who love tasting menus that are a little bit unconventional, this is the spot for you. My wife and I came here on a trip to Asheville in March and had the best meal. They had a fairly large drink menu - of course with a ton of beers because Asheville - but there were a lot of really fun cocktail options. Both seasonal and regular. One cocktail I got was the Tsukemono (Lunazul Blanco Tequila, gentian liqueur, lemon, house yuzu pickle brine + Scrappy's Firewater Tincture) and it was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. We both went with the more expensive tasting menu and got WAYYY too much food. It was all delicious but some standouts were: -Sea bass on a stick (top 5 fish dish i've ever eaten, so meaty) -Pork and shitake mushroom gyoza -Tuna sashimi -Duck hot pot It was awesome and we would definitely go back next time we're in the area!“

Waiter was Cassidy he was very nice and welcoming with great knowledge of the menu, this was our first time there and was so relieved to find a great noodle stop as we have tried others and were highly disappointed but not here. We got the dynamite shrimp , so creamy and just a hint of heat, we got the kids ramen so next extra stuff just the noodles and broth and those had great flavor they approved!! I got the deluxe ramen with the black garlic oil and pork belly so bold and smooth, and we got the spicy ramen which had a great heat level and my husband loved. “I am so glad we found this little place! My fiance and I live in Delaware, but we are moving to Asheville in July. We visited the city last week, and I was recommend this restaurant from the Facebook group, Asheville Foodies. Everything was fantastic. The service was great, atmosphere was awesome, and the food was amazing. My fiance and I eat Japanese ramen every Friday night as a tradition from our favorite ramen place in Delaware. So we wanted to establish a new Friday night ramen spot for when we move. And I think we found it! Such a little gem.“

“I love this place. I'm always surprised it's not busier. I guess people overlook it since it is connected to a gas station... Doesn't bother me one bit though. The food is great, the prices are great, and I often have the place to myself. I usually get a sushi roll and shrimp dumplings. “Three of us had perfect meals, drinks and an appetizer. The sake and mixed drink menus were great, and the food menu was more Japanese than I knew what to do with and I still found multiple items to choose from. Service and vibe inside were good, too. The Tempura Banana dessert straight up burnt me even after waiting a couple minutes, served way too hot. Everything else was perfect.“

BEST sushi and spring rolls in Asheville hands down. The General Tso chicken is amazing as well. Never been disappointed! “Delicious dishes that are familiar, made fast all in "10 minutes". Their food tasted clean in general and would definitely order take out again. The dining room wasn't inviting and didn't offer table service. The crab Rangoon appetizer was delightful.“

Do not recommend the sushi as there was very little fish and quite a bit of cream cheese in the rolls. But if you like that sort of thing, it did taste fresh!
