“We went to Walmart to get my sons glasses fixed at the eye center. My boys wanted a slushee, so we ate at subway. The gentleman that was working behind the counter was awesome with my kids, kind, engaging, and professional. It got pretty busy while we were there, and I noticed he wasn't phased, nor was his service compromised. As a business owner, and a restaurant owner these workers are hard to find!! We will be back! I wish I knew his name. Tattoo down his arm, ear piercings, and dark hair! Thanks for the awesome service man!!“
“I have a genuine fear in my life that one day there won't be any more Schlotzsky's in NC, and I won't know what to do with myself. Anytime I visit family in Asheville, I buy 4-5 sandwiches and take them back home with me, because I genuinely don't think there's a better sandwich on the planet.“
“Jimmy John's is perhaps the most under rated sub shop. I have consistently been happy with this location and others. I have never waited more than 5 mins for food. Most of the time I call ahead and my order is waiting when I walk in. Quality has been high and orders have been consistent without mistakes as I have frequently found with other similar vendors.Thanks for being great Jimmy John's!“

“Update: After learning about my experience, the owner contacted me on a holiday weekend to apologize and make it right. Word of caution, this location gets very busy. I would order ahead if you can, or bring your patience hat.Original review:What a nightmare of an experience!!! I went in today around 12:20 to grab a sandwich. I was the first person in line. I ordered, paid and waited, and waited, and waited.... Finally I asked someone how much longer it would be. They said there were 5 orders ahead of mine. I told them I have to go to an appointment and I'd be back in a couple of hours and not to make my sandwich. I came back starving at 2:45 and waited, and waited and waited... Nobody was at the register. I told the guy making sandwiches about my earlier visit, showed him my receipt and he went to the back. I waited again. He came back and said he didn't know what to do and asked me to wait some more, at this point all I wanted was a refund, he couldn't help with that either. I was about to lose my $H!T so I left before things got crazy. So I'm out $10 and about 40 mins of my day, and no sandwich to show for it. WTF??!!“
“What an adorable hidden gem tucked off the street. Outdoor setting is dog friendly. Pups even got a treat. Owner is delightful. I had homemade vegetable beef soup and some mixed greens with a vinaigrette. My husband had a tuna melt sandwich. Highly recommend“

“This is one of those places where when I discovered it I had to really hold myself back from eating there every day of the week. Just thinking about it makes me need my Old-School Subs fix! I always try to sop up the coleslaw sauce left in the cup or even drink it if nobody’s looking. I sometimes underestimate the importance of the bread when craving a sub and that’s what sets this place apart, the bread being pillowy soft and fresh made and very unique.And then sometimes if you eat somewhere, give it a couple or even a few chances and you might find you really like it and if you went here and didn’t have a good experience, I feel like you just need to give it another shot because I loved it first time I went and from then on.“
“The staff there were amazing at the Arden, nc location tonight around 6p.I haven’t ate there in quite some time. One woman helped us to decide on what we were wanting (she also sliced the meat). She was very helpful and kind. A young guy with curly hair rang us up. I wish I had his name to give him a shoutout, but he took the time to make my son’s day. He let him order(I have a disabled son), and it made him feel like a million bucks. I can’t praise him enough for that!!! I will definitely be coming back!! Thanks for being so wonderful!
