Was expecting a hole in the wall restaurant with a hidden gem of great Mexican food. Unfortunately the food was just ok. Saving grace was the customer service. Very attentive and listen to our opinions of the food.

Casa Torres gave me a free hot meal when Helene initially hit. Their kindness and delicious food was such a bright spot in an otherwise horrific time. I will be back to try their full menu!

I almost never leave reviews. That's just not my thing. But this was easily bar none the worst Mexican dining experience I've ever had. I ordered the enchiladas supreme.

Chicken was actually 100% flavorless and over cooked. Canned red salsa on top and refried beans(which tasted burned/heavy carbon flavors) and the rice was actually somehow totally flavorless. I was kind of amazed by the lack of flavor tbh. I've spent my entire life around Latin food and this was seriously just...what a waste. Focus on your flavor! Just a thick slice of tomato with wilted shredded lettuce on top..even the table side Valentina was encrusted shut and left me desperate to season the chicken with the canned red salsa on top of the enchiladas.

I hope someone reads this there. The quality of that food was less than a star and beyond disappointing.

In my area we have many wonderful Mexican restaurants. Trying to pick one as 'the best' would be impossible.

Even though they serve the same type of food, there are differences in the taste of the food.

For example. Today my granddaughter and her husband were visiting. They chose Casa Torres. Of course, my wife and I agreed and the 4 of us enjoyed eating together.

From the lunch menu, I chose the chicken fajita. It was very good and a slightly different taste than the chicken fajitas served by all the other Mexican restaurants.

My wife and I have eaten here many times. The entire restaurant staff is always friendly and attentive.

Parking: This restaurant is in a shopping center where parking is shared with the other merchants.

Finding a parking spot reasonably close to the restaurant is fairly easy.

People that work here know what customer service is. Always smiling and happy to asist you. Warm place to dine in, and very decent prices.

Not only that, but during Hurricane Helene they worked so many hours FOR FREE just to give free meals to people who might need it, and didn't even accept payments or tips on these.

Only 5 stars because you can't rate 6 :)

Placed an order online for the nearby Verizon store employees and when they went to pick it up it was not there due to internet issues. Instead of turning them away they donated food for the store. If I was local I would 1000% visit. The local community is lucky to have you around. Thank you for helping those around you. Stay safe!

Definitely not the best Mexican we've had. The food was okay (not great), but the service was bad. After taking our order the server seemed to ignore us for the rest of the meal. We had to flag her down for a refill. It was also late August and they had no AC. Not really a pleasurable dining experience.
