I am a bit taken back by this experience. I ordered the French toast breakfast. My French toast was cold and I had to ask for syrup 3 times. I ordered eggs over easy and they were hard. I ordered regular hash browns and received something cheesy. I ordered sourdough toast and received wheat. The ham was one piece of fat and was not chewable. My drink did not arrive until I asked for it after my meal was served. I did not think it was possible to get everything on one single order wrong. When I tried to let my server know she said she was new and was doing the best she could, but no one would help her. She only had one other table. I felt sorry for her but at the same time, she did not try and fix anything with my order when I asked politely. She ignored me for the rest of the meal and had someone else deliver my check. I am honestly amazed by the whole experience. I don’t see myself stopping by the Cracker Barrel anytime soon. I realize this is only one bad experience, but it will leave a pretty lasting impression.

The food tastes better. We had the chicken and dumplings. The restaurant was nice and clean. We received attentive service from our server, Lalita. We always try to sit in her section when she’s there.

So first off the food was good. It is a letdown when its a cold, blustery day and your family decides oh Cracker Barrel sounds great. We place a $32 order online and pay for it. 1:29 pickup time. We arrive at 1:30 and food is ready. I check the ticket and its mine and everything marked through and signed off by employee checking orders. I drive 25 minutes home and when the bag is opened to my disappointment my chow chow, onion, and cornbread not in the bag. Now what is pintos without the other 3. Let down #1. Let down #2 was my 70 year old mother didn't get her green beans. What a huge letdown.

We only had to wait 10 mins for a table but once we ordered it took 50 minutes for the food to come out. Food was good but something was going on in the kitchen that had everybody waiting a really long time.

While our food was delicious, we waited well over an hour for it to arrive after we finally ordered. Our waitress was more than attentive, keeping our drinks full, but the wait for pancakes (which we all ordered) was ridiculous. Only go here if you have lots of time to wait and the patience to do so.

My mom and I stopped for lunch here on our way down to Savannah, GA and we had Lisa as our server. She was so lovely and very kind and it was such a pleasure to have her as our server! If I lived closer to Asheville I would come all the time just for her :)
