Huey Magoo’s quickly took my heart! I only eat here for fried chicken and for any fast food chicken anymore! Their hand breaded chicken is soooo good. Light breading, just the right amount of chicken…. Mmmm! Keep it up!!! Love you guys!!!

If you close at 8:00, don’t say you’re open until 9 on google!!!!! This was happening before the hurricane with all Asheville businesses and I’m sick of driving 20 minutes for no reason!
Get your shit together!!! I’m tired of this wanna be hippy town with everyone and their smug attitudes.
I’ve worked in the service industry and never got the slack you people get.

We’ve all noticed chicken tenders getting smaller and smaller but this is just plainly unacceptable. This 5 piece “chicken tender” meal which was about $12 was 5 bite sized pieces of dried out chicken and I used the small ranch cup for comparison. Needless to say I was still hungry and Huey Magoo is off my list for a good while if ever

Hands down they have some good chicken. But the service sucks, because every time I go there they don't give out a fork or anything to eat the coleslaw with and this time they forgot the coleslaw. Sad for the price Huey, very sad that you would rip customers off like that.

This was our first but not last time eating here. The food is good, honestly better than I expected. but the true gem here is MARISOL. Marisol was not only helpful, but very kind also. Marisol took the time to explain and answer each of my many questions with patience. She had no idea I was having a crappy day with bad brain fog due to an illness. Plus the fact we just had a frigging hurricane! We will definitely be back due to her kindness. huey magoos give this girl a scholarship or something!!! With her attitude she will go far in life. Marisol if you read this thank you again for your kindness. You set the bar high for customer service. Keep shining your bright light in life.

I simply had to leave a review as a warning to all, especially for the near future. Was having lunch there yesterday, and got a salad. Now the salad is being prepared at a distribution center right now because of our water situation following Helene, but there’s no telling where the salads are prepared normally. Anyways, I got down to my last bite and sure enough in the bottom of my salad was a stink bug crawling around. For some, seeing a bug in there food might not be a deal breaker, but I don’t really pay attention to what I eat, I usually am on my phone, so seeing a bug at the bottom of my salad means I probably ate one in my salad and can’t get that out of my head. I was too focused on keeping myself from barfing that I forgot to take a photo, but the manager did apologize, said he threw out the rest of the salads for the day, was going to relay the message to his distribution center, and gave me my money back. He handled it correctly and honestly I would’ve turned down a free gift card or something because unfortunately, that was the last time I will ever be going there. Chicken is honestly really good, slightly better than zaxbys, different from cfa. If you can get around the mental idea of potentially eating a bug, it’s not a bad chicken joint, but they’ve lost my business, too many other chicken places to risk that again.
