First time here and was not at all disappointed! Great food and a variety of food to choose from. Win win…. Beers were cold and a good selection to choose from. Great relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back and spend more time enjoying the grounds….

Really good brewery. Both beer and food were good.

Great large, family and dog friendly venue with televised sports as well as live music. (Which was terrific tonight, Moonshine State, by the way) Food looked better on the menu than in reality. Burger was very good, but fries were cold and meh. Of the 3 dips that came with corn chips, salsa was good but be prepared for some major jalapeño if you're sensitive, guacamole was OK, cheese was meh. The imperial stout was good as was mixed drink. Definitely a place to check out!

Had some pretty great experiences with Mills River in the past, so it's not my top priority to leave a sub par review. However, the past two experiences have been subpar. I'm not a local, but I do frequent the area as much as I can with my family for various reasons and Mills River has always been a go to for us. To get to the point, it's gotten way over priced for the experience. They tell you what you owe and then give you the receipt after you pay, just to find out you were charged for guacamole that they forgot in the first place. Everyone at my table ordered the SAME nachos which "included" guacamole, yet none of us received it. Brought it to the employees pretty much right away and then we all had extra charges. Kind of ridiculous since the food is that expensive and it's almost impossible to get out of a 20% tip

One of the coolest places I've been in a long time!

Great beer, good music, and a nice atmosphere. Large outdoor seating with plenty of room for kids to play. It was very busy the day we went, but the bartenders did a great job pouring drinks and taking food orders quickly.

Great burgers!

Their food has always been good. I’m not much of a fan of their beer. It’s mediocre at best. The thing that really confused me about this place though was when I tried to get a growler filled there they did have any caps and assumed I should have one. I’ve never had an experience like this. Very odd for a brewery.

Try the nachos and Mr Light beer.

This was a nice brewery that suffered horribly for lack of decent service. Our bartender, Cory, was a sarcastic asshole from the moment we said hello. The entire experience of our first time here was discolored by this extremely negative interaction with staff. Probably won’t return, in spite of delicious food and fairly good beer- terrible service is a major turnoff.

Food and beverages were good, but when it's crowded expect to wait a long time for food. Seems to be a super popular brewery hangout in a natural setting with music and cool vibes.

Fun,.good food and well organized.

Awesome atmosphere! I was there for Jimmy Buffet day Monday and even though it was incredibly busy the staff was very friendly and fast to make delicious drinks. I would highly recommend this brewery to anyone.

Cool place, good vibes..BUT..the prices for beer and bourbon are ungodly high..especially their allocated bourbon.there is a difference in making a profit off something and absolutely price gouging..$110 a pour for a weller single barrel?!? Even the secondary market is $500 for that bottle and they are charging 10X that here. $60 a pour for an EHT single barrel?! The EHT is literally $60 MSRP(which is what they are buying it at). Your Michters Toasted Barrel is $80 a pour when you can get that bottle on secondary for 250 any day of the week. come on guys seriously.you have a great bourbon selection but make it affordable to even let someone try it..you could cut all your prices literally in half for those bottles and you would STILL make a ton of money and have way more happy customers. What kills me is people hate the secondary market on bourbon because people charge a ton more than what the bottles are worth but this is by far the biggest rip off I’ve ever seen when it comes to allocated bourbon pricing.hope you guys fix this one day because I would love to come back to try a few different ones but until then I’ll stick to literally anywhere but here when I’m looking to have a good drink
