Disappointing packaging. This restaurant makes a GREAT chef salad! BUT, when i order delivery for weeknight dinners, they put the hot chicken tender in the clamshell with the lettuce. This makes zero sense to me. They'll also pack the salad with hot items instead of a separate bag with the dressing. I really wish they'd just wrap the salad tender in some wax paper, put it in with the hot stuff, and put the salad in a different bag then the hot stuff. Instead, you get a pile of wilted lettuce. I almost never order the salad anymore because of the packaging
This is place is entirely overrated. Prices are sky high for tough pieces of chicken. Save your money and mix your own butter and cayenne. Or go get a steak somewhere else for roughly the same price.

Visited Asheville for a few days and I ate at this location twice. Once to dine in and the other was carry out.The service and engagement from the staff was great! It seemed like a place that gave permission for their staff to be themselves, while focusing on the customers experience. We felt comfortable and at home.We got there before a line formed. It seems to come in waves. We were there mid week around 6:30p. Nevertheless, we ordered our food, got seated and the food began to come out as it was ready.The good was very good. I tried the chicken and waffles to play it safe initially. The waffles, eaten immediately while hot was the best way to go for me. Very tasty. The chicken was also pretty good and flavorful. Well seasoned. Not just that seasoning on the outside but not on the inside foolery. I could’ve done with a little less breading but still good. I went with the chicken fingers type pieces to last on top the waffles.The sides. Maaaaaaaaan!!!!Loved the sweet potato, corn casserole and Mac & cheese. Loved em! Ordered them twice.Enjoy the spot!It’s worth the visit. .
Lived up to the hype. Fried chicken was excellent. Had Mashed taters and gravy. Amazing. Had the Mac Poppers. Was not mad about it. Place does get busy so be patient or go off

After a few years of passing in a tractor trailer, my family finally got to try this place, SIMPLY AMAZING, staff was GREAT, wings, okra , Mac and cheese was DELICIOUS. A must try. Thank you for an amazing place to eat.
