The Biltmore Park location is our favorite, with a very engaging staff, bottomless coffee, nice mountain views, quick service and the cook has my over easy eggs, crisp bacon and blueberry waffle to perfection.

Upon entering the Waffle House, everything seemed fine at first. The server that we had with the glasses and beard messed our orders up, and this is where it all went downhill. Not only did I NOT get my extra chocolate chip waffle, but another person at our table also received the WRONG order. Instead of getting what he wanted, his order got switched up with another party’s order. Not to mention, it took 40+ minutes to get our food…and they had more staff than customers. Tell me, in what world does a Waffle House take over 15-20 minutes to get food. I would recommend y’all NOT to come here. After we encountered all this, we came to a conclusion that tipping wasn’t even a consideration with this kind of awful service. There was also a GUY in the GIRLS bathroom…

We have several Waffle Houses in our area. But for unknown reasons, we drive past them to get to this one.
I have eaten in Waffle Houses, all over the southeastern United States since the 1960s. Slight differences from time-to-time but food and service is always good. The atmosphere is always 'Waffle House.'
2024 Oct 24. In between chores today. My wife and I stopped for lunch at Waffle House, 371 Long Shoals Rd, Arden NC.
While our food was being prepared, an employee was busy doing restaurant 'chores' near our table.
My wife asked him if he fared okay during the hurricane (a most often asked question here in the mountains of western North Carolina).
"I lived in a camper. It and my pickup truck got washed away. Me and my dog made it out okay."
"We are now living in a shelter. They look after my dog while I work."
"I have had to start over before. I can do it again."
Tough situation for this young man, but I like his 'can do' attitude and outlook on life.
Best Waffle House at Arden, whenever you hungry they ready to serve you 24H. Alton always helpful and so nice.

I’m a fiend for Waffle House, and most of the time, have good experiences, but Dustin, Forest, Liz and Abby were exceptional. Everyone greeted us when we came in, all asked us how our food was when they walked by, and I was very happy with the service. Definitely appreciated.
