Really cool little spot in downtown Asheville. My husband has performed here twice and it's neat, very hole in the hole I would call it. Staff is friendly and professional. Punk-ish atmosphere. Not stuck up. Would reccomend anyone check this place out.

My kind of place. The ‘Ginger’s Revenge’ beer is very… interesting. Mixed feelings about it. Great place to catch a show if you like smaller name bands and smaller venues, the locals were very welcoming in spite of it being probably more a local spot than a tourist attraction. Great atmosphere, great show. Reminded me of some of my favorite venues from back in the day which are no longer around, so it was a bit sentimental for me as well. Carry some cash to tip the bartenders because they take their tips at the end of shift rather than doing a pool system, and as hard as they work, they absolutely earn it.

We went here tonight (Halloween) after my daughters wedding. The manager was fabulous. The staff was amazing! The music and entertainment was outstanding. We had a great time and would def recommend this place! We danced all night. It’s small, but the music was fantastic and not so crowded that you couldn’t move around!

Eclectic place with a fun vibe but, due to the rather small scale of the building, I would classify it as a bar only and not as a "club". This was a let down as the purpose of our visit was to attend an event that was advertised as "goth dance party". I did witness one or two people attempting to dance, but in an extremely tiny section on the right upper side of the bar. I couldn't tell from my vantage point if it was actually supposed to be a dance floor, but it appeared to be approximately the size of an area rug so ...describing the event as a dance party seemed a big stretch.On the more positive side of things. We received quick bar service with very reasonably priced drinks. The crowd and was an interesting mix and mostly on the younger side. Having a dedicated parking lot is a huge plus. And the bathroom was reasonably clean as well, which is always nice in a bar/club environment. I would definitely visit again, but only when seeking a small, funky bar experience. I will be looking for a different venue next time we are interested in having a night out dancing in the area.

I visited the area for vacation and searched for a bar that seemed to fit me. I love metal and wore a lot of black (lol) for several years, so this place seemed like a good idea. All these reviews talk about inclusion and being a safe space. It's all bogus. My friend and I got there, and us not being able to get in was on us. He lost his ID and what he had was expired. What was uncalled for is the way one of the door guys stared us down as we walked towards them. I guess we didn't look the part. The icing on the cake was some random guy coming up to us as we're leaving to recommend we go to Scandals Nightclub instead. The description for that place is "Long-standing, gay-friendly dance club with drag shows is part of an entertainment complex." So, these so-called tolerant people love to kick people when they're down if they think you don't belong. Awful establishment and behavior.
