My poor friend was absolutely chewed out by the bartender (I believe the name is Jessie) for “over apologizing”. My friend felt bad for not informing us that we needed to show id before walking to the back to claim a pool table. It was a horrible experience.
We are from a different country and we had no idea about the rules, when we couldn’t understand the bartender, her behavior became more and more erratic. When my friend got involved to try and deflate the tense situation and take responsibility for not telling us the rules, Jessie went off on her in front of everyone. Then Jessie walked off mid conversation.
To make matters worse, she then began talking about the situation to all the customers in side and talking bad about my friend. My friend said she knew Jessie since middle school and had no idea why she was being so mean to her with no warning before absolutely blowing up. It was a very awkward experience as my friend said she knew multiple people in the bar and Jessie continued to talk bad about her when she would leave the main area.
Please do better. We were not aware of NC bar rules and my friend was only trying to help. You should never involve a whole bar of customers in your own petty drama.
We will not be returning.

Very dive-bar feel which wasn't what I was expecting from a distillery but my friends and I had a great time watching some of the super bowl here. They have some of their house rum & vodka in a cocktail on tap!

Adam was our bartender and we had such a great time! He told us all about the different types of liquor distilled at the location and also introduced us to a lot of local NC spirits they keep at the bar. We had a blast playing board games and air hockey and drinking on delicious spirits. We will definitely be back and recommend them to anyone we know!
