This place is 5+ stars. One of the best poke bowls we have ever had and the young lady working was super sweet and helped us narrow down what to order. We were on vacation so I am super bummed we are so far away! Will definitely be visiting when we are back in town. I believe we got the Dragon Bowl but truly all of them look amazing. Amazing quality ingredients and the tuna was fresh and delicious. I meant to try the boba tea but forgot, so hopefully we will get the chance to try it in the future! We kept talking about this place the rest of this trip, and I’m still thinking about it 3 weeks later!

Unassuming, but absolutely amazing! My husband and I were in town on Sunday evening for an event. So many other restaurants were closed, and I’m glad, or else we might not have found this gem. It’s a hole-in-the-wall for sure, but the food was outstanding, and the lady who was working that evening was so sweet!
I had the Dragon Bowl Z, and he had the Poke Doke bowl—both were fresh, well-balanced in flavor and texture, and generously portioned. We could not believe how reasonable the prices were for the quality of food we enjoyed—you can’t get fast food for much less than that! The only negative I can think of is that it’s 2 hours from home, and we have nothing like it nearby. Asheville, you are blessed to be able to boast this business!

I ordered the veggie sandwich, it was extremely delicious it felt rich abundant vibrant authentic, organic crisp veggies, mouthwateringly good. It felt healthy too, nourishing and fulfilling... it was absolutely delicious in fact I bought 2, I highly recommend. Good service l, got my food in 5 mins

The food was absolutely delicious, i had the veggie bah mi and came back the second day for the tofu bowl. Both were delicious and filling!! Please stop here in Asheville!

Easily one of the best establishments in Downtown AVL hands down. Of alllllll the Taro boba I've had from San Fran to St. Pete, to NYC, Aloha Cafe is in a class of their own. That said, I haven't even started on their appetizers. Their Shrimp rolls with the peanut sauce are juicy, fresh, and ripe with flavor in each bite. You'll be transported to Japan when diving in, all from the comfort of downtown Asheville. Last, but certainly not least... their Banh Mi. There's about a million ways to mess up such a sandwich, and only a few to get it right. If the carrots are too brined, if the cucumber isn't enough, if the meat isn't ratioed properly... the whole deck of cards comes crashing down. Aloha Cafe threads this needle like a master seamstress, devoted to their craft. If you're downtown and don't try this place out, I pity thee for missing out on this incredible hidden gem.
