After 4 different Mexican restaurants I finally found the place for birria tacos! They were crisp on the outside tender and flavorful on the inside. Modest selection of beers. Plenty of room at the bar. If you are in Ashville this is the place for tacos!

Andale Way is one of our favorite spots downtown. Its location on South Slope makes for an easy in and out.
We usually get the Especial Fajitas. It’s plenty big for two of us to share. Plus the complimentary chips and dip are a nice bonus to the meal.
Everything we’ve tried here has been good. The menu is pretty large. Maybe some visit we will venture more with it. Service is always friendly. Prices are nice too.

As far as the Tex-Mex restaurant offerings in the Asheville area go, this place smokes everyone else. Prices are very affordable, food is a step above the competitors, and wait staff is really personable. After you eat here, you’ll have buyers remorse for all the other times you ate at other Tex-mex spots anround Asheville.
