Archetype Brewing - North (Tap Lounge + Venue)

Absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere and our server Josh was very engaging and fun.

We enjoyed several of the beers we had but they were out of some that we had wanted to try. The waitstaff was very friendly and did say we should go to their other location for the sold out beers and more merchandise. This location is definitely more event venue focused. Our recommendation is to go to the West location for double the beer options, a more relaxed atmosphere and larger seating area.

It's a wonderful place to relax and throw back a pint or two. It's also a fantastic venue for having your business or social event.

When is this place actually open? Sign and Google say open until 8. Doors locked the place is dark at 730. Not the first time it's happened. Lots of other breweries in this town.

We had our reception here in October. Through the entire process Carrie Ann was so organized and so sweet and always kept us informed of everything that developed with Covid. She helped set up and made sure our day went smoothly. She was gracious to let us set up early and pick things up the next day. When my new husband and I arrived she had our favorite beer at the sweetheart table and a half pour for us while we waited to be introduced. She is an absolute asset to the brewery. The beer was incredible, the industrial rustic vibes was so perfect. They have vintage rugs, exposed ceiling ducts and brick, an antique piano, projector if you need it, beautiful marble bar top.. The set up was great for our 65 guests. We had a good sized dance floor and everyone was able to be in the same room for dinner. We rented both sides of the brewery which worked great for flow. The pictures don’t do this place justice. Beyond blown away!!

Hosting our wedding and reception at Archetype Brewing was the best decision we made for our wedding, hands down! From the beginning of the planning process to the end, Carrie-Ann was there to help us every step of the way. Our day would not have been so cozy, romantic, or memorable had we chosen a different venue. The brews at Archetype are also excellent, and they had an option for every taste preference! If you're looking for the perfect venue for an intimate gathering, a wedding, a reunion, etc. look no further! Archetype is a dream come true.

What an amazing vibe. There was live music in a room over but we chilled on one of the many couches and enjoyed delicious cold beer. Would absolutely go back !

I absolutely love this place! The space is so inviting and comfy. The beer is some of my favorite in Asheville. It is my go to brewery. Love both locations, they’re both so unique With an inviting atmosphere. The staff is always happy and friendly. Beyond that you can tell the Brewers know what they’re doing. Never had a beer I didn’t like! Highly recommend!

A completely different vibe than WAVL's location. It's sleek, and a perfect date night spot. The venue is large and would be great for any type of event!
