Awesome little corner bar facing the Woolworth building downtown. Great to watch the various Asheville citizenry from an open air window overlooking the street. Very small establishment but nice and chill. Beautiful bar and wooden bar tables. Best thing is the beer selection is spot on. I was planning to do an afternoon pub crawl but I mostly hung out here to drink. They also do some really great smelling coffee too for any friend of bill w out there still into the casual bar scene!

This is the first bar I've ever went to, and it was a great experience! The decor provided for a modern, cozy feel, yet the open windows and door allowed for fresh air to flow in. The location is great as it is right in the heart of downtown. The bartender was friendly, and interacting with people both in and outside the bar. As for the drink, I had the White Squirrel. It tasted smooth and like dark chocolate, with alcohol that complimented it perfectly.

Great spot to duck out of the rain or heat for cocktails, local beers and coffee! The Irish Coffee warmed us up on a cold, snowy

Locals don’t like this place, and generally don’t go here. This is a tourist bar. I’m a local asheville musician that’s played here pretty regularly for about two years. The owner has no respect for the local community, nor the musicians he hires. Ive heard too many stories from people that have worked for him regarding his dishonesty and treatment of coworkers. My personal experience involves the owner randomly decided to “fire me” one night because a drunk man was hollering thru the window….and somehow that was my fault, stating that I “bring in streetlife” He also hollered at my guest that was apparently drawing a picture while I was performing. I’ve performed at venues all over the US and in four different countries. I don’t have a problem finding other work…but my experience with Sal (the owner) is that he is unpredictable, unprofessional, and temperamental.I confronted him about him raising his voice at my guest (who was buying drinks as well) and told him that the way he behaved was unacceptable. He can get his point across, or ask someone to leave, while still maintaining respect, and act in a professional manner. I told him I would leave a bad review on google.Apparently he told the bartender that I “threatened” him.I literally told him I would leave a bad review!! When that involves two men, the word threaten usually implies physical violence!! Something I would NEVER do!!! This was my experience at asheville club.

This place is such a great location and atmosphere! The bartenders are super friendly and helpful. The drinks equally amazing! Even more grateful they stayed open when other places did not! Don’t miss out on their old fashioned!

Decent drinks but the bartending staff are just plain rude. Couldn't ask them anything without some snarky or smug remark in return. It's clear they dislike the out of towners.

Edit: seriously, their espresso martini is terrible, don't come here. Go to another of the MANY craft cocktail bars in Asheville. This place will try to gaslight you into thinking their cocktails are amazing. They're 2x as expensive as any place in town and half as good. Do NOT come here.Super cool vibes but the drinks just aren't on point for the extreme amount you pay for them. Save your money and go elsewhere.
