First time at babybull. Been living in Asheville for almost 2 years and still discovering places since Helene. What drew me to this place was the lobster roll. I was so excited to try it. The area is lovely has kind of a diner vibe and tons of seating inside and outside. You walk up and order at the counter. The menu is small but no issues there. Now I was about to order the lobster roll when I saw it was $36...please excuse me but 36 for frozen lobster is absolutely obscene. I couldnt justify it. So I ordered a double cheeseburger 12.95, hush puppies 5.95 and a malted milk shake 5.95. So for one person its def not cheap by any means. Another issue i had was what I would call a mini shake. Youre only getting 14oz ive never seen a shake that small....delicious dont get me wrong. But come on for almost $6 give your customers a 16oz you're paying more for the smaller cup 🤣 the hush puppies were steaming hot and delicious. They were a savory corn bread with powdered sugar on top and maple bacon butter on the side. Absolutely mouth watering. I ordered a medium rare burger but it came out medium well. Which to be honest was fine with me. I dont even know why I ordered rare. It had a very interesting flavor which I believe was their aoili. didnt hate it but I didnt love it either. Everything else was great. The problem i have is the lack of service. You are charging people top dollar to order their own food and have signs telling customers to bus their own tables. Its too much and very in keeping with every over priced asheville restaurant. Im sorry but the atmosphere isnt enough to justify these prices in 2025 do better for your customers.

There burgers are delicious! It's the best burger I've had since living here. The French fries with garlic mayo are also addictive.

I've been living here for the better part of 9 years and I am kicking myself for just now finding out about this place. Hands down the best burger in Asheville.

Sandwiches here are sold with out a side. Advance notice if you dine here. This new trend of selling sides separately gets to me for some reason. On Mondays they give you a break and offer sides alongside their sandwiches. Like it use to be..lol...I understand costs are up and the reasons behind it. It just irks me. Anyway, my fish sandwich was very tasty. Large portion bigger then the bun. The hushpuppies were unique and not to our liking. No fountain drinks either. Canned sodas mostly. Staff were friendly and efficient. If you get a sandwich and a side with a drink, you'll be in the 20 to $30 range, kinda high for lunch in my opinion.

One of the best burgers in town and the hush puppies are to die for! From the outside don’t expect much, but once you walk in it’s cute and the food is great!

Ordered a medium rare burger. I didn't want to be a squeaky wheel but the burger was medium well. I ate half but was quite disappointed. Friendly folks though.

Was meeting a friend for a casual lunch and picked Baby Bull randomly. What a great find! Being gluten free for over 15 years it is often a challenge to find truly safe gluten free food eating out. The owner happens to be celiac and assured me several times I didn't have to worry. And she was right! I was going to have the double cheeseburger which made me literally drool just looking at it until she told me the lobster roll was also entirely gluten free!! What a treat! It was a Connecticut version of a lobster roll and extremely good! The menu is small, but everything is excellent quality. My friend had a wedge salad that looked very fresh and she said tasted great. Coolers with bottled beverages and water available. Indoor and outdoor seating - several people brought their pups. Will be coming back often when I am in the West Asheville area.

A super chill spot for a wonderful burger! I’ve been here numerous times for lunch, it’s always suburb.

Definitely eat in if you can. I’ve gotten to-go once and they forgot the aioli for the fries! Ahh! Otherwise, highly recommend. 🍔

Burgers are decent, a little over salted. Great fries and drink selection. Good atmosphere pricing is a bit high for what it is.

Flew in to Asheville to buy a car and drive it back home. This place was recommended by a local IG account and I stopped by for lunch. The burger and fries were great. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. A little pricey, but I'm willing to chip in a few extra bucks for a local small business over a chain any day.
