Fantastic service and tasty food. The biggest reason for the 5-Stars is the uniqueness that you can't find anywhere else at a reasonable price!
If your in the area, would absolutely recommend.
We're from the Charlotte area and make a trip to Asheville about every 2-3 months. Our most recent trip we were laughing when we realized that this is the only place that when we're planning - we ensure we always include it in our plans
Hours are not accurate. We showed up at 10pm as they’re supposed 11pm but they were already closed.
Great bar, wide selection of beer and sake, fine liquors and a great environment
It was very lively! Great fries, and the atmosphere is perfect!
the menu is small but mighty. Food comes out very quick and both egg rolls and katsu are very flavorful ❤️
This eclictit building has so much character. I bought a T-shirt with my Son's name on it. I love the story of the restaurant's generosity of feeding victims of hurricane Helene!
The owners are abusive
They had a little corner deli store that was separated from the full joint, that is fully incorporated now. But they were slinging sammies out of there the year I was living and working there in 2015. They had the best Cubano sandwich I ever had, unfortunately I returned in 2017, only to find that they were slinging glizzies and had ceased all sandwich operations. :(
Cool spot, stop in and grab yourself a sake flight!
Good atmosphere and friendly staff! Awesome selection of sake and decent selection of beers.

When I was in college some years back, this place was always known as roofie central. I thought maybe it had it gotten better after a few years, but went there for the first time in a long time last weekend and my friend got roofied too. If you go, watch your drinks, cuz creeps are you watching your drinks too and the bar staff apparently aren’t.
Tried their sake flight which was pretty decent. The nigori sake was well balanced with a hint of yogurt flavor. Other sakes weren’t as dry as I like, but still drinkable and able to scratch the sake cravings.
The vibe has the post apocalyptic car garage feel, not something I’d expect for a sake place but still interesting.
The Vietnamese Fries were really yummy! Tender sweet beef with Sriracha sauce over the top. And it was definitely a meals worth of food.
Nice old service station. Great saker (own brewed)
This place is always on our list! Super yummy sake and crazy amounts of beer variety. Support now, as they seek to get back on line with their food menus. The floods really brought back a part of Asheville we missed.
