$4 for an old drip coffee in a 12 oz cup is really an outrageous start to an order. After the gal at the counter rang it up I told my husband not to order a second. Them be worse than Starbucks prices! Ordered a turkey sandwich grilled- it came with red picked onions and without lettuce or tomato- the chef did give me lettuce and tomato afterwards when I asked and said with hot sandwiches they don’t add toppings. That’s fine, but not specified anywhere. And I really dislike unsolicited and undisclosed onions. Chips were fine. Outdoor patio is lovely. Not gonna rush back.

Had a late lunch and food was really good. Chicken salad, Grill cheese and fresh garden sandwich were very flavorful and filled with fresh ingredients.

The deviled eggs were fantastic. We enjoyed the indoor seating area… wonderful views and sunny.

We were hungry after taking trails here and luckily there is this Bistro. We tried tomato bisque and roasted turkey sandwich. Both are good. Atmosphere is wonderful.

I got a BLT and it was probably the saddest BLT I’ve ever had. Super thin bread, maybe two pieces of bacon.

They have good, fresh food here, but I feel they can do more. The BLT I got was on Wonder bread (this is Asheville! They have some great bakeries!), And literally had half a slice of tomato, 3 small pieces of lettuce, and one small piece of bacon. The tomato chutney it came with was delicious and the ingredients were fresh...but come on.....put it on some real bread and make it a substantial sandwich! (Especially with the prices you are charging!)

My friends and I had a great lunch here this weekend. Loved the reuben and tomato pie...What a great place for lunch after a hike!
Good food, decent selection.
Not very friendly...not big selection and the food I ordered very small portions for what I paid .Disappointed...but the aboretumn is amazing bring your own food.
It's great and all but very expensive spent $25 on 1 hot chocolate and smore kit and a bottled water.
