We were excited to try Botanist & Barrel while visiting Asheville, but unfortunately our experience fell short of expectations. We visited this business in the afternoon when it wasn't very busy (only 1 other group of 2 patrons) and the staff seemed both inconvenienced and annoyed with our group of 4. The ciders were o.k. but the food selection was highly disappointing. We were made to believe that the seafood options were freshly prepared and were stunned when ultimately served an aluminum can of octopus with not even a handful of chips, especially since the menu made no mention that the items were canned. The shop aesthetics were cute and the ciders are a good concept that has potential if the other aspects were majorly improved. I hate to ever leave a negative review, but I hope to provide honest feedback for future improvement.

Such a fan of Botanist and Barrel’s ciders and wines. I love that they are all natural and contain no weird additives. Extra brownie points since their organic ingredients are sourced locally from their farm or other local sources! Love the tasting rooms ambiance and chill vibes. Highly recommend!!
