I've been to Bun Intended before and had great baos, but I had the curry plate today. It was SO good! First, it was a really sizable portion, which was a great surprise. Second, and more importantly, it was delicious! Everything was well cooked and well seasoned. Curry was marked as spicy, and I always get disappointed when something says spicy but ends up being mild. Spice on this did not disappoint! It was really delicious, and I'm looking forward to going back soon!

Ate at the food truck at New Belgium and it was delicious. We got the tofu veggie platter and it was cooked perfect and it was nice and fresh. Great spring meal.Vegetarian options: Limited but well marked and quite good.

Great menu. The food is awesome and the service is too. The staff was so appreciative that we chose them. We went back to compliment them after we ate, and each staff member that heard us looked up from their work and acknowledged. We could feel the love of food!! Would definitely revisit next time in Asheville.

This review is only of the grilled pork plate, but I have to say, it’s the best (East) Asian dish I’ve had in Asheville, if you don’t include Neng Jr.’s (or, like, a J. Chong pop-up). Which isn’t a particularly high bar to clear tbh, but it was legit excellent: authentic flavors, complex contrasting flavors (fresh mint, birdseye chilies, maybe palm sugar, fish sauce, etc., against charry burnt-ends-style grilled marinated pork). And in a food court!

The pork belly was rubbery and not cooked nearly long enough. Not possible to even bite through it without grabbing the meat by itself and tearing it. Looked good but wasn't very satisfying. The bun was soft and seemed fresh, the toppings were tasty and would have been great with a slow cooked tender meat of meat. But it was a failure unfortunately.
FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Service even better, highly recommend!!!

Food that looks good but disappoints. It seems like there is no quality/ taste control in place in the kitchen. The pork bao was as salty as the sea. The thai curry was so spicy that it felt like the spice box fell in. The broccoli bao, the grilled chicken that came with the thai curry and the thai coffee were edible but that’s about it.

I love this place so so much. This is a fantastic place to eat with delicious food and wonderfully friendly employees. I came here one day for a quick snack and saw that they had som tum. I hadn’t had it in a while and thought I probably would never find it again. I ordered it and it was exactly how I remember it and better. This place is definitely worth a try because it’s fantastic every time I stop by.
