I was at the restaurant to celebrate with my wife, children and grandkids. I think the staff gets confused as to who keeps the restaurant afloat. Never again, Cúrate. Thanks for the drinks and puny appetizers while I waited.

We were seated at a communal table that, despite the restaurant being busy, felt relaxed and intimate since no one else was seated with us. The menu is built for sharing, and every dish impressed. The mushrooms were deeply savory, the beet tartare bright and beautifully composed, and the shrimp and octopus both perfectly cooked. The lamb was rich and memorable, and the spicy double-fried potatoes were impossible to stop eating. Desserts sealed the deal—crackly, aromatic crème brûlée and an elegant chocolate dessert that felt indulgent without being heavy. Thoughtful food, great energy, and a place that balances creativity with comfort.

Fortunate to secure a bar reservation (my preferred choice) at 8:15pm just a few days before our visit as any reservations need to be secured in advance. Dinner and a show-lol! as you observe the chefs seamlessly work their stations. Our server Trish was outstanding offering suggestions upon asking. Declined the two $36/37 large plates dishes recommended as her favorites; thrilled with that she agreed with our snack and tapas selections. Highly recommend the eggplant $10 and $18 mushrooms! The ham croquettes $10 were slightly bland but had a crisp crust and creamy filling. The large plate PEI mussels dish ($22) was delicious in a tasty broth. Surprised with a complimentary very rich and tasty flourless chocolate cake as my husband and I were celebrating my birthday. We shared all! Securing a reservation at Curate will be the first thing I do on my next visit to Asheville.

A wonderful selection of different types of food served tapas. The flavors in each dish were so interesting making us want more! The people working hustled except the gentleman who waited on us.

An amazing lunch. We have been to Spain many times and this was a close as I've seen in the US to a true Spanish tapas experience! Lamb kebobs and shrimp pil pil were amazing

A beautiful restaurant with first-rate food and service. The front room is bustling and lively, the tear room more serene. The servers are smart, warm and helpful and the food superb. Curate is popular, and you may need to book long in advance, but this spot is well worth the effort.

Curate has a big reputation and it doesn’t disappoint! Food is amazing and watching the prep from the food bar gives dinner and a show. Very authentic in a great atmosphere. Highly recommend it. Stuffed peppers, lamb skewers and Mac and cheese are a must!

This place was so delicious!! It was a very different menu from what we are used to in our hometown and the flavors really stand out. We ordered the lamb skewers, warm kale salad, potatoes bravas, Mac and cheese, and the shrimp. Our favorite was the lamb!

Probably the best meal you will have in Asheville. We sat at the kitchen bar and had great service. The Bomba de Pulpo and Pincho Murano were 2 of our favorites, but the Macarrones del Cardenal was incredible. It is the best mac and cheese (with chorizo and Iberio pork) we've ever eaten. Just a great spot for dinner.

We had a reservation on a Saturday night and were promptly seated. There were 3 of us and we ordered 7 small plates which was more than enough. Everything was absolutely delicious. The salad and the eggplant were our favorite dishes. I’d definitely recommend if in Asheville!!

My wife and I visited in early October. We made reservations and actually were able to select which table we wanted. Our server was fantastic and suggested many delicious items and wines to go with them. Atmosphere was lively and restaurant stayed busy throughout the night. We would definitely return for another great meal!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our evening at Curate. Everything we ordered was fantastic! The wait staff was very helpful and pleasant. Loved the decor. We especially enjoyed our order of pimientos de piquillo rellenos (piquillo peppers stuffed with goat cheese and topped with parsley salsa) and our berenjenas con miel ( fried eggplant with honey). We had the eggplant with rosemary ice ream which sounds odd but was absolutely wonderful! We highly recommend you visit and we plan to return again to try more tapas!

Cannot say enough positive things about Cúrate. The variety of drinks (and unique cocktails) help quick the evening off right, and our waiter was able to explain and recommend where we had questions. Every food item we ordered was phenomenal (jamon, patatas bravas, croquettas, mac & cheese, fried eggplant). We also appreciated that even though it was packed, they space their tables well enough that we didn’t feel crowded or cramped. Highly highly recommend for a special occasion, it’s worth the hype!

When we visit Asheville we try to make time for a visit to Cúrate. Amazing food and great service. The pork steak was our favorite and the small plates give us such a great combination of dishes to taste. Always a winner.
