By far the BEST dining experience we had in Asheville. The food is so spectacular that I bought their cookbook just to remember how good it tasted. You MUST sit at the bar! We spoke with so many people, local and repeat visitors. Friendly, fun vibe. Highly recommended!!!!

Had been waiting to try Curate and since we decided to celebrate our rehearsal dinner here later this year. Our server Angelica was so lovely and we really enjoyed everything. It is very thoughtfully done and flavors are wonderful. The pulpo was melt in your mouth! The manager was kind enough to bring us a dessert since it was our first time dining and it was also amazing. Can’t wait to bring family back in October.

What a fun dining experience. We went in for a few snacks and sat at the bar. I loved being able to watch the culinary team Cook. We only had a few small plates. The olives were delicious. The Gilda was also a great snack. I highly recommend the pulpo. The octopus was perfectly cooked and not rubbery at all. I had come here years before prior to myself having Yelp and had squid ink pasta. I remember loving it then. The environment was upscale casual. We came to the area for hiking and hadn't brought "fancy" clothes and felt fine. I was in a sundress and cardigan and my husband had khakis on. Definitely go!

Unbelievable food! We enjoyed the tapas so much. Favorites were the eggplant and the octopus. The service was prompt and very friendly. We ate early since we couldn't get a later reservation but didn't feel rushed The space was comfortable and even though they were busy we didn't feel crowded.

Curate was even better that I had hoped for after perusing their menu. Our bartender Danielle was truly lovely and while my family and I had picked several of the tapas plates, Danielle suggested a couple of lovely additions that truly rounded out our meal and experience. She shared a bunch of the restaurants practices, all of which ensure that the next time I am in Asheville will be back again. The cava sangria, octopus and especially the scallops were my favorite dished.

Came to Cúrate during our trip to Asheville for two birthday celebrations within our family. Made a reservation for a weekday night for a party of three. Loved the atmosphere and overall vibe/energy. The place was busy, enjoyed the open concept of the kitchen/counter seating, and decor. With regard to the food, I thought the plates were extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity of food being served. Obviously being a tapas restaurant, plates are meant to be shared but what was arriving to our table was not even memorable. Bread was $10 and was served cold with a tomato paste on top. Fried eggplant was bland. Salad had no flavor or acid. Stuffed peppers with goat cheese were mushy and could have had more crunch. Best thing was the shrimp. Pork was laughable being $34 and literally two bites each among three people. Besides the unimpressive food, what stuck out the most was the lack of service and attentiveness from our waitress. She didn't even know what it meant when we ordered a Botanist (Gin) and Tonic. Never checked in to see how we were doing on food. Just assumed everything was amazing. Overall, I think this restaurant thinks they're putting out a perfect product when in actuality it's mid-grade cuisine. Overpriced and overhyped. You're better off elsewhere.

The experience was sublime. The server was incredible and I cannot stop talking about the food. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection and the presentation was to die for. This is definitely a special occasion or fancy date night option for food. The food cost is high but absolutely worth it!Parking: There is a parking garage across the street but be aware, it charges $25 for 3 hours of parking. Rates are pretty high.

We've seen so many people talk about this place, so we wanted to see if the hype held up first hand.I got the muled wine to start which was amazing. We then shared an order of the potatoes, chicken fritters, and shrimp. But the best thing besides my drink was the fried eggplant. They were cut and fried just right which made them taste sweet. The chef then paired it with a honey drizzle. SO GOOD!
