We sat at the bar and the bartender Wes was top notch. Very personable, remembered our names when we came back in because we left a bag. Great experience and I highly recommend.
I cannot express how wonderful our experience was at Carmel’s! Wandering around Asheville trying to find a child-friendly lunch option for myself and my seven year old on Halloween, an amazing staff member (dressed in an adorable mime costume!) brought my little one candy and then encouraged us to come in! Man, this place is awesome. The service? Top-tier—super friendly and on point. And the food? So good! I was psyched that they could make their crab cakes gluten-free, and honestly, they were insane. Crispy, flavorful, just straight-up delicious.
Now, the BBQ pork flatbread? Total game changer. Smoky, a little sweet, a little tangy, with the perfect crunch. Just the kind of thing you wanna keep going back for.
