The restaurant's location & staff were super. Food & craft beer selection were limited & nothing to “write home about.” However the deviled eggs appetizer was delicious & it looked like we would have been more satisfied with the great looking cocktails.
Man, this place is awesome. The service? Top-tier—super friendly and on point. And the food? So good! I was psyched that they could make their crab cakes gluten-free, and honestly, they were insane. Crispy, flavorful, just straight-up delicious. Now, the BBQ pork flatbread? Total game changer. Smoky, a little sweet, a little tangy, with the perfect crunch. Just the kind of thing you wanna keep going back for.
I reserved a large table for friends. The reservation process was easy, the wait staff were great and the food was very good. I will definitely return in the future
This was an average lunch with reasonable service. We sat outside so the noise level and ambiance were nice. I am happy to find somewhere still serving lunch downtown. The portion size was generous and the prices reasonable. The food was fine but not outstanding. We would go back there.
A bit heavy on the Lusty Monk, but the Dev Eggs were An excellent appetizer. Fried chicken sandwich was huge and fries are homemade. But the skillet cornbread was amazing - don't miss it. Very early (6pm) to be out of soup - disappointed. Service was excellent (sat at the bar) and friendly. Only suggestion - Update your social media please! Otherwise.... Great choice for Friday night dinner!
Not sure about this place. My wife and I tried to make a reservation, but the linked system said that there were no open times. We dropped in to grab a cocktail and found the place completely empty and smelling of overcooked fried food. We tried to explain the reservation issue to the bartender, thinking they may want to fix the issue, but he wouldn't listen to us. He said they weren't taking reservations due to their limited menu and couldn't comprehend that he needed to remove the link to the reservation system and replace it with text that reads "no reservations needed".
My cocktail tasted weird and my wife said the same about her wine. After only a few minutes we paid our bill and left our full drinks on the bar.

We recently dined at Caramel's Kitchen in Asheville for a memorable date night, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the staff was incredibly welcoming.
We started with the Truffle Fries appetizer, which were nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly crispy and seasoned, they were the ideal start to our meal. My partner had the Crab Cakes for the entree, and they were absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I opted for the Buttermilk Chicken Breast, and it was deliciously tender and juicy with a delightful blend of spices.
A special shoutout to our server, Gary, who did a fantastic job guiding our experience. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attentiveness made our night even more enjoyable.
Caramel's Kitchen truly knows how to deliver an exceptional dining experience. We can’t wait to return!

Came in for a late lunch, tried the fall Maple old fashioned and it was phenomenal and different! The bartender was very kind, attentive and checked in on us often! Even asked how everything was! We tried the catfish Reuben and what an experience! Coleslaw is used instead of sauerkraut and the sourdough bread was excellent too! The fish was thick, fresh and deliciously flakey too! Excellent experience while spending time in town, will be back for sure!

The food was delicious. The salmon with grits and green beans is one of the best meals I've had.

Enjoyed patio dining on a calm September evening around dusk. Meatloaf and Fried Chicken Breast dinners were had. Very good w/companion vegetable sides. Good drinks. Service was accomplished but I think what's keeping me from raving is there was no personal attention during our experience. Not by hostess nor server.
We had dinner during a weekend girl's trip and it was the perfect place! Food was great, drinks were strong and we sat outside where it felt great!
The server was assigned too many tables. She had to take care of guest both inside and outside tables. This caused way too long to get our food. That was not her fault, but the manger should helped out or even the hostess.
Great food and drinks
