Popped in here a few weeks ago for a quick drink after a long day on the road. Quirky little local dive bar with a friendly service, nice drinks, warm fire and a resident bar dog. Enjoyed a couple of drinks and was on our way again. Cheers

Came by here because the place look really cool online. Wanted to come have drinks, when we got here we saw there was a food truck which we were excited about because we hadn’t had dinner so first we got food, while we waited we walked around inside the place to check it out. And are greeted will a “rules board” almost the size of a public swimming pools rules. But anyways got our food sat in our car to eat because most of the seating is outside plus it was a little cold and windy and didn’t want to sit outside the whole time. So I get in my car and turn off my headlights because I didn’t want to blind anyone. But since my car is running it has my daytime running lights on which are not bright at all. They are even yellow color. I’m greeted with a waving Karen bartender that comes running up to my car telling me I look like I’m doing a drug deal (which is odd because it’s me and my wife eating food not near any cars) and tells me to turn my headlights off because “I’m blinding her business” which is by no means accurate at all. Plus I don’t even think it’s “her business”. but between the rules, the Karen (that already has several negative reviews already about) and being accused of doing a drug deal for eating my food in my car before coming in for drinks I definitely won’t give them a try and will not recommend them at all to anyone. Thanks for great first impressionUPDATE to Owners Response.As you can see by their comedic ignorant response they don’t acknowledge pretty much any of my issues. But instead make a joke of it. Owner also obviously doesn’t care about the fact they profile and accuse their customers of being drug dealers for sitting eating food in their car from a food truck they let be on their property.

They have a new local Poblano food truck with incredible flavors. The bartender was so welcoming, and reflects Asheville's original scene. Creative, authentic, and sustainability focused. We sat down to enjoy avocado sandwiches and over all a queer friendly vibe. Puppy friendly. It great for after the park lounging.
Such a fun little hidden gem of a bar! Fun games to do while drinking, plenty of lit up outdoor seating, great drink selection, and lots of parking. Would definitely come back!

Had a simple egg and cheese sandwich with a Mexican mocha. It was quiet at 8-ish am. Place is in an inconspicuous location, which was nice, away from traffic. I like to support local places when on vacation. So its a nice place for coffee and a little nibble in the morning.

Sick little spot. Easy to walk to from the trail and close to the river. There is a lot of room to bring your dog out back. Good selection of draft beers as well!

If you look at the place from outside it's not much. The food is amazing. I had three Mountain Scramble one day and the Pastrami on our second stop. My wife had the Avocado Toast, then the Cuban Sandwich. Loved them both. I am not a coffee person, but I tried theirs and thought it was great. Finally, not sure what the people who said the employees were rude experienced, but everyone was very friendly.
